Girls’ Generation’s weekly facial expressions

A photo collection of Girls’ Generation‘s “daily facial expression changes” has become a hot topic online.

The photo shows Girls’ Generation and a related facial expression for the members, each day of the week. On Monday and Tuesday, the members look tired, but as the week moves on, they start to look a little more cheery. Friday and Saturday, they are smiling brightly. One thing that netizens noticed was that maknae Seohyun stays consistent, smiling throughout the entire week.

The collection definitely reflects the difference between what most people feel when the week starts and when the weekend begins.

Netizens who saw the post commented, “Girls’ Generation’s daily facial expression is hilarious,” “I burst out laughing looking at Sooyoung,” and “I think I am most similar to YoonA’s expressions.  I completely agree.”

Photos of actress, Gong Hyun Joo and Girls’ Generation member Yuri working out at the gym in the same skin tight outfit have been spreading rapidly, provoking netizens to choose who wore it better.

Screen captures of Gong Hyun Joo running on the treadmill were caught when SBS‘s ‘Stupid Mom‘ aired its episode on April 21st.  The actress sported an skin tight black top and short pants along with some sleek headphones.  Her overall appearance is quite similar to Lara Croft from the classic game,Tomb Raider.  The tight outfit does an outstanding job, revealing her slim and sexy body line.

Meanwhile, Kwon Yuri’s treadmill run sparked much interest earlier in the month, as screen captures circulated rapidly on the internet.  Yuri, also sported a skin top black top and short pants, but covered herself with a light pink jacket, displaying a bit more of a feminine look.

Both actresses’ certainly rocked their individual outfits, but if you had to choose — Which is better?

'Love Rain' falls in percentage despite kiss scene

“Love Rain” fell again.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on April 23rd, KBS 2TV drama “Love Rain” rated 5.2%. This is 1.2% lower than the previous days episode. 

“Love Rain” started the romance between the 2012 Jang Geun Seok and YoonA since last week and the percentage seemed to be going up but fell to 5% once again.

Jang Geun Seok and YoonA started living together somehow and kissed 3 times to add rapidness to the romance but still the viewing percentage fell.

Meanwhile, SBS “Fashion King” rated 9.8% and MBC “Lights and Shadows” rated 21.7%.

Tiffany talks about airport fashion on 'Strong Heart'

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany confesses that airport fashion is troublesome.

on the recent recording of SBS’s “Strong Heart”, Tiffany shared that she is receiving stress due to airport fashion. The Girls’ Generation member revealed, “I used to go to the airport without caring about my fashion. However, after airport fashion started gaining attention, I have started to be more careful about what I wear.”

Tiffany added, “Whenever I take more care from head to toe there is no reporter on that day. But strangely when returning back from overseas performance with no makeup and wearing a slipper then there are many photos taken of that.”

Tiffany’s appearance on “Strong Heart” will be broadcast tonight at 11:15 PM KST.

SM releases "Dear My Family" for the movie 'I AM' OST

The OST ‘Dear My Family’ of the movie 〈I AM: SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden〉 was released today. 

The digital single ‘Dear My Family,’ released through various music websites including Melon, Genie, NAVER MUSIC, etc. on the 24th, was a track from Yoo Young Jin’s 3rd album ‘지애( released in 2001)’ and Kangta, Moon Hee Jun, S.E.S, Shinhwa, Fly to the sky and BoA participated in the song at that time.

Especially, as the movie 〈I AM.〉 will be released on May 10th, SM’s artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO-K and EXO-M newly recorded the song. 

Also, ‘Dear My Family,’ which features beautiful melody with touching lyrics and SM artists’ soft voice, is enough to touch listeners’ hearts. 

Meanwhile, the movie 〈I AM.〉, which will show SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR held at Madison Square Garden in New York on October 23rd and SM artists’ daily life, will be released on May 10th.

SM Entertainment sets up restaurant business

SM Entertainment, the agency that houses to top artists like TVXQ, Super Junior and Girls' Generation, will be setting out new venture. After launching its travel agencyback in February, SM will be branching out into the restaurant business. 

On April 23rd, SM Entertainment announced that they have partnered with Kraze International to launch a new joint venture business, “SM Kraze”.

SM Kraze aims to build the foundation for spreading Korean pop culture through chain restaurants. In particular, the two companies are in the works of creating something called, “E-Factor,” incorporating food and entertainment for a new type of business.

SM Kraze will be launching their very first ‘new style of PUB’ flagship store in Chungdam-dong within the first half of the year and will attempt to satisfy the tastes of Koreans and foreigners with its menus.

Honey Lee reveals her close friendship with Jessica

Actress Lee HaNui (Honey Lee) shared a picture taken with Girls’ Generation’s Jessica.

On April 22nd, through her personal Twitter account, Honey Lee tweeted, “I had a delicious lunch with my beloved dongsaengs (younger sisters) at Buona Sera in Shinsadong” and attached a photo along with it.

Judging from her expression and gesture in the photo taken at the restaurant located in Shinsadong, Jessica seems to be very close with Honey Lee. It was believed that the close friendship between the two ladies started ever since Honey Lee’s involvement in musical ‘Legally Blonde’ from the end of 2009 to 2010. Honey Lee made her lead role as ‘Elle Woods’ in the musical, alternating with Jessica and veteran musical actress Kim JiWoo.

On April 22, SBS “K-POP Star” featured special collaboration performances between the top 3 finalists and representative artists from SM, JYP and YG Entertainments.

Yesterday, we revealed the special stage of finalist Baek Ah Yeon, who shared stage with SM Entertainment’s representative and Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon and Tiffany. During the live show, the three singer delivered a sexy performance of “Lady Marmalade”, which displayed a near-perfect chemistry with each other.

This time, the practice video prior to their amazing stage has been unveiled. The video features Baek Ah Yeon, Tiffany and Taeyeon having their choreography rehearsal, and some sweet talks.
