Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung recently showed off her cute charms in a reindeer headband and asked fans to help out their neighbors in the spirit of Christmas.

Girls’ Generation releases MV teaser for “I Got A Boy”

As we countdown towards the new year and Girls’ Generation’s much-awaited comeback, the excitement in the air continues with the release a teaser for the drama version of the “I Got A Boy”.

On December 26, Girls’ Generation released a music video teaser for “I Got A Boy” through various social media websites, including their official homepage and YouTube SMTown Channel, showing the girls’ sexy transformation. However, according to their agency, the background music used in the teaser is a different song from the “I Got A Boy” album.

Girls’ Generation already attracted a lot of attention by releasing some unconventional, sexy teaser photos of the group. The pre-released track, “Dancing Queen,” also topped various music charts, demonstrating power domination. 

The teaser for the dance version of the music video for “I Got A Boy” will be released on December 28th and will feature the title song.

Tiffany snaps a holiday photo with TTS backstage and wishes fans a Merry Christmas

Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany recently wished fans a Merry Christmas from backstage during the ‘Music Core‘ Christmas special.

Tiffany shared, “AYO SONE! Merry Christmas^^. Let’s do the New years countdown together (; DDAY-8*”, along with several photos showing the TTS members (Seohyun, Taeyeon, and Tiffany) wearing their Christmas attire on the set of ‘Music Core’.

Hyoyeon purchases a luxurious penthouse in New Songdo City, Incheon

It was reported that Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon recently bought a new penthouse in New Songdo City, Incheon.

Hyoyeon recently signed a contract for a penthouse unit with the ‘Prugio’ apartment complex which houses 999 units and Hyoyeon’s penthouse has been revealed to be situated above the 60th floor.

Other celebrities who also live in New Songdo City include Ji Sang Ryul, singer Kim Jong Seo, SK Wyverns manager Lee Man Soo, baseball player Park Jae Hong, and Jo In Sung.

A real estate representative stated, “In the case of New Songdo City, it is not only in close proximity to Seoul’s Gangnam, Yeouido, and Ilsan, but it is close to the Incheon International Airport (voted World’s Best Airport Seven Years in a Row) which will fit the preferences of people who have lots of overseas schedules. News of Girls’ Generation’s comeback raises SM Entertainment stock value by $93 million USD

Even before officially making their return, Girls’ Generation is already having a huge impact. News of their upcoming comeback has helped raise the stock value of SM Entertainment by 100 billion KRW (approximately $93 million USD).

SM Entertainment had suffered a recent fall of 4.19% percent in their shares as of December 20th. However, on December 21st, Girls’ Generation’s “Dancing Queen” was released. They also announced their return to television and music programs in January, making this their first album in a year, since ‘The Boys‘.

Within two days of the announcement of their comeback, SM Entertainment’s shares shot up immediately and SM Entertainment’s market capitalization was increased by 100 billion KRW. This rise has brought SM Entertainment back as a competitor with major entertainment companies with a lot of trade volume such as YG Entertainment, as well as Loen Entertainment.

A stock market expert stated, “SM Entertainment is different because Girls’ Generation is one of their major acts and holds so much power with the ability to change their stock price.“

Girls’ Generation Releases Seohyun’s Comeback Video Message

Girls’ Generation has just released Seohyun’s comeback video message. In the video, Seohyun greets fans from the music video set of “I Got A Boy”, the title track of Girls’ Generation’s fourth album, and reveals that the members of Girls’ Generation were working hard to shoot a music video with their new appearances. Finally, Seohyun ends her message by saying, “If you want to see the new us, make sure to be with us on January 1st.”

Furthermore, fans can look forward to seeing Yoona’s comeback video message tomorrow.

Girls’ Generation to have a comeback show

Girls’ Generation will have their comeback show on MBC with the title ‘New Years Special: Girls’ Generation’s Romantic Fantasy’. It was planned to broadcast at 11:15 p.m on January 1st. 

They will not only sing their title track ‘I Got a Boy’ and their pre released track ‘Dancing Queen’ from their 4th album but also their various hits during the 80 minutes. 

In particular, many fans swarmed to the filming location on the 23rd to see the group showed Girls Generation's strong effect.
