Seohyun Attends ‘Passionate Love’ Press Conference

On September 23rd, Seohyun attended the press conference for the upcoming SBS drama, “Passionate Love”. Seohyun plays the role of Han Yurim, the first love of the drama’s male lead, Kang Mooyeol. Her character will only be part of the first four episodes, but she will influence the overall plot of the drama.

To celebrate Seohyun’s upcoming role, fans donated 3.696 tons of rice and 928 kilograms of pet food to go along with the celebratory wreaths with cheerful messages. More individual photos of the various donations and congratulatory words sent in by fansites can be found here.

Dressed in an elegant and stunning red dress, Seohyun appeared at the “Passionate Love” press conference alongside the rest of the drama’s cast. Tiffany Joins Cast of SBS’s New Fashion Competition, ‘Fashion King Korea’

On September 23rd, SBS’s broadcasting staff revealed that SBS will showcase a new program called “Fashion King Korea”. This show will take the form of a competition in which eight stars, including singers and actors, each team up with professional fashion designers. Each team will choose a fashion item to plan, design, and produce to compete in a “fashion battle” with other teams.

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, SISTAR’s Bora, singer Yoongun, actor Lee Jihoon, entertainer Kim Nayoung, Boom, artist Lim Dongwook, and Choo Miram will participate as the cast of the show. “Fashion King Korea” is scheduled to begin filming on October 2nd and will begin broadcasting on November 17th at 12:10 AM KST.

The stars and designers met each other for the first time on the September 11th and filmed the team-forming portion of the show. The judging panel will consist of 100 fashion professionals.

“Fashion King Korea” is expected to garner attention through the discovery of each star’s fashion sense.

Fans Celebrate Hyoyeon’s Birthday with Newspaper Advertisement and Volunteer Work

To commemorate Hyoyeon’s birthday on September 22nd, fans of Girls’ Generation continued their tradition of placing a poem in a newspaper advertisement. The poem for Hyoyeon reads:

Fans also performed volunteer work as helpers in honor of Hyoyeon at the KRPS seminar on July 24th and July 25th held at the Woori Leadership Academy in Ilsan, Kyungi-do.
