On February 22nd, the well-known and first officially recognized music chart, Gaon Chart, held its first-ever awards ceremony "1st Gaon Chart KPOP Awards 2011." The event took place at the Blue Square, Samsung Card Hall in Seoul, with several top artists, producers, composers, and more in attendance.

"1st Gaon Chart KPOP Awards 2011" is dubbed as the most fair awards since it recognize and award the most-loved songs, musicians and pop artists based on the objective data that Gaon has compiled over the past year.

Man responsible for spreading fake nude photos of Girls’ Generation caught

Last week, it was reported that SM Entertainment had requested an investigation into the spread of the photoshopped nude pictures of Girls’ Generation. The agency had stated at the time that they would be taking legal action against those behind the creation and the distribution of the composite photos. It seems that the police has now caught one of the perpetrators.

The person behind the wide-spread distribution of these photos has been identified as a man in his 50′s; he’s been booked without detention.

Although the age of the man may be surprising in itself, what’s gotten the public’s attention is the man’s job.

The individual, called ‘A’ by the Korean media, is reported to be a 53 year old government employee in Yeonsugu, Incheon.

‘A’ is being charged with uploading the composite photos (made with Girls’ Generation dressed in hanbok and pictures of nude females) in December of 2011 during his work hours on an internet cafe site.

‘A’ admitted that although he had uploaded the photos, he had not created the photos. The police stated, “He stated that the photos were not created by him, and all he did was upload them on the [internet] cafe site.”

Jessica stuns in March issue of 'Dazed & Confused'!

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and SE7EN are the latest cover models for the March issue of the Korean edition of British style magazine ‘Dazed & Confused’.

In the released photos, Jessica and SE7EN were holding a phone each in the respective covers while making a strong expression as if they are yelling at someone.

On the day the photos were taken, the two did not show their exhaustion and did their best to bring up the atmosphere at the photo shoot.

Also, it was said that the photo shoot staff complimented Jessica’s natural expression for the shoot.

Jessica and SE7EN’s photos could be seen in ‘Dazed & Confused’, which will be on sale starting February 21st.

Yoona has too skinny legs?

SNSD's Yoona along with Seohyun and Yoona were recently spotted in the Incheon International Airport on the 21st of February arriving from London as they attended the Burberry Fashion Show last 20th of February.

On the airport, Yoona appeared with a chic fashion style wearing sunglasses, fur jacket, skinny jeans and boots. However, with Yoona's skinny jeans, you can see how thin her legs are. Netizens are thinking that her legs look's fragile as if it will break easily.

In celebration of their 10th anniversary, popular fashion magazine "Vogue Girl" has featured three female celebrities as "Girl Icons" for its upcoming March issue.

Having a Korean celebrity as its cover girl for the first time, "Vogue Girl Korea" selected Girls' Generation'sYoona, as well as actresses Shin Se Kyung and Lee Yeon Hee.

In the photos, the ladies each exhibit different charms. Yoona looks chic and confident, while Shin Se Kyung exudes alluring vibe. Lee Yeon Hee gives off her doll-like charm and delicate beauty.

"Vogue Girl" will have three different editions of their March issue, and will span 24 pages each featuring a different “Girl Icon.”

To mark their 10th anniversary in the fashion industry, popular fashion publication ‘Vogue Girl‘ has enlisted three female celebrities representing “Girl Icons” for their March issue.

The icons they’ve selected as their cover girls are Girls’ Generation YoonA, as well as actresses Shin Se Kyung and Lee Yeon Hee.

The ladies each exude a different charm — YoonA looked chic and trendy, while Shin Se Kyung gave off a mysterious vibe. As for Lee Yeon Hee, she adopted a ‘Spring Fairy’ concept that showed off her delicate beauty.

Their full pictorial spans 24 pages and will be available in the March issue of “Vogue Girl”.
