Taetiseo shares an awkward moment with a Wonder Girls’ fan on ‘Hello’

The latest episode of KBS‘ ‘Hello‘ featured Girls’ Generation‘s sub-unit, Taetiseo. The three members, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun appeared on the show to listen to the worries of the public.
One of those who had submitted his concern was a young man, who was stressed out about the comparison between himself and his older brother. While he stands at 156 cm (~ 5’1″) tall, and is not good at academics nor athletics, his older brother stands at 181 cm tall (~5’11), possesses good looks, and ranks in the top in terms of academics and athletics.
As he made his entrance, the emcees all remarked, “You’re cute!”, in an attempt to help boost up the young man’s self confidence. However he flatly stated, “I hate being called cute!”.
The MCs asked the young man, “So do you get upset even if beautiful women like Taetiseo call you cute?“. However contrary to everyone’s expectations, he responded, “I actually like Wonder Girls.”
After hearing this, the girls seemed a bit taken aback and the MCs hilariously suggested that Taetiseo take revenge on him by calling him by the word he hates. The members brought laughter as each of them gave him a dirty look and remarked, “You are so cute.”
The young man’s older brother remarked later that as he and his brother are complete opposites, he is a fan of Girls’ Generation while his younger brother likes the Wonder Girls.

Starting on March 30th, Sunny took the stage for thirty performances of the musical and took her final bow as Brenda on the May 12th performance. Sunny’s debut as a musical actress has been met with widespread praise from critics. A reviewer from Chosun news said, “The person who showed the most potential as a musical actress was Sunny. She took the role of Frank’s girlfriend, nurse Brenda, and digested exaggerated cuteness and flippant acting. One part of her is still inexperienced, but she shows potential for her ability to understand her character and apply it to her acting.”

Sunny’s stellar performance as Brenda is being recognized by everyone, and she is even nominated for the Female Newcomer award at the 6th The Musical Awards. The awards show will be aired on JTBC on June 4th at 8pm KST.
After Sunny finished her final performance, two of Sunny’s fansites, Sunshine Village and Helianthus, prepared a special event to congratulate her. Fans gathered along a red carpet holding banners and gave Sunny a congratulatory cake as well as a specially made plaque to commemorate her accomplishment.

Appreciation Plaque
Musical actress Sunny

By putting everyone in a state of emergency with her fatal ‘kyu-teness’ [T/N: cuteness, a play on Sunny's name] Sun noonim [T/N: same as noona] took the stage with a pretense more mysterious than the seven wonders of the world, and shined brightly. We’re thankful for her becoming a musical fairy with her appealing voice, and creating a momentary miracle of causing world peace. We give this plaque and wish she continues to laugh like this.
