On the 20th day since SNSD's arrival in Japan, their photo for Japanese 'Gee' album was revealed.

The photo was revealed through Universal Japan's official page and it shows different clothing to what SNSD wore in Korea during their Gee promotion. In Korea they wore hotpants whereas in this Japanese one, they are wearing miniskirts.

In the Japanese teaser for "Gee", SNSD shows a different image, more of a barbie doll.

In addition, there was a slight change in the music too. A bit of sampling was used in the Japanese version of Gee, further emphasising the 'Barbie doll' image.

Currently, SNSD has reached 5th in the Oricon charts with their first single 'Genie'
