Seohyun tops 'maknae mascot' poll!

Who would you pick as girl group's #1 youngest member to serve as the "mascot" of the group?

A poll was conducted on a Korean online community board, DC Inside. The topic is all about the #1 youngest member of girl groups who serves as the mascot of the group. 

Girls' Generation's maknae Seohyun took the number 1 spot with 3,466 votes out of the total of 6,297. Seohyun received more than half of the total votes which is the reason Miss A's maknae Suzy got ranked 2 with 14.2% of votes. F(x)'s Krystal got the 3rd spot and followed by T-ara's Jiyeon, Brown Eyed Girls' Gain and Kara's Kang Jiyoung.

Sooyoung and Seohyun Set to Release Drama OSTs!

Following fellow members Taeyeon and Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun will soon be releasing drama OSTs of their own.

Sooyoung will be singing an OST track in collaboration with Oohlala Session for the MBC weekend drama “Feast Of The Gods”. The release of the song will be confirmed at a later date. This will be Sooyoung’s first time participating in a drama OST.

Seohyun will be singing the OST for Yuri’s drama, SBS’s “Fashion King”. The song title is unknown at this time, but it is confirmed for release on April 16th. This will be her second OST, the first being “It’s Okay Even If It Hurts” for the 2010 MBC drama “Kim Soo Ro”.

These future releases come after Taeyeon’s OST “Missing You Like Crazy” for the MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts” and Tiffany’s OST “Beacause It’s You” for Yoona’s drama “Love Rain”.

Taeyeon’s OST has done well on the charts, topping the Melon music chart since its release. Tiffany has also received a lot of praise from fans for her soulful and emotional song.

With so many OST releases for Girls’ Generation lately, fans have been jokingly saying, “Right now it’s OST Generation!”
