SNSD’s Taeyeon wins the title of ‘OST Queen’

Netizens have voted SNSD’s Taeyeon as the #1 ‘OST Queen’.

Monkey 3, a Korean music portal, recently held a poll asking netizens who’s the ‘queen of drama OSTs’ and Taeyeon came in 1st place, followed by singer Baek Ji Young in 2nd.

Out of 740 voters, Taeyeon won by a landside with 52% (385) of the votes. Amongst officials, there is even a saying that “if Taeyeon sings it, the song will rise.” Thus far, Taeyeon has sung for MBC’s “Beethoven Virus“, KBS2’s “Hong Gil Dong“, and SBS’s “Athena: Goddess of War“. Her OSTs in all three dramas received much popularity from the public.

Baek Ji Young, who drew in lots of popularity for the SBS “Secret Garden” OST, “That Man” andKBS “IRIS” OST, “Do Not Forget” came in 2nd with 26% of the votes. Following these two singers,IU came in 3rd with 7%, Gummy was 4th with 6%, Zia was 5th with 5%, and Seo Young Eun came in 6th with 4%.

SNSD Taeyeon Crowned As OST Queen

Well, guess what, our dear Taeyeon has added another feather to her proverbial cap of achievements.

Taeyeon tops another on-line poll by netizens.

Music website Monkey3 recently conducted an online poll asking netizens about ”who is the the queen of drama OST’s”.

Well, our kid leader topped the poll by getting 52% (or 385) out of a total of 740 votes, making her the Number 1 favourite !

(Baek Ji Young came in second with 26%.)

In fact, music industry pundits even ventured the opinion that: “If Taeyeon sings it, it’ll be a hit.”

Taeyeon’s OST recordings repertoire include ”Can You Hear Me” from MBC’s “Beethoven Virus”, “If” from KBS2′s “Hong Gil Dong”, and “I Love You” from SBS’s “Athena: Goddess of War”.

That’s one of the main reasons I’m a die-hard SONE , because of Taeyeon’s AWESOMEsinging voice ( the other reason being I’m in love with the eye smiles of the ladies in the group !)

Who is the idol suits best as a teacher?

Kids Daum.net made a poll for selected idols titled, "Which star suits best as a teacher".
The idols to choose from are SNSD members Taeyeon and Seohyun, SJ's makane Kyuhyun, 2AM member Jo Kwon and other idols.

And the best teacher goes to none other than Super Junior maknae Kyuhyun with total of1,328,226 votes that is equal to 54% of the total votes..

Next to him is SNSD's leader Taeyeon who got 41% of the total votes.
