Seohyun looks like Snow White?

Photos of Girls’ Generation member Seohyun holding an apple have some commenting on her similarity to Snow White.

Seohyun is getting attention for her surprising, fairy-tale-like charm in the pictures, taken during a recent photo shoot.

Wearing a fluffy pink dress and a silver headband, she definitely looks like she could be a princess from a fairy tale. People are saying that Seohyun has the look of a real-life Snow White.

Netizens commented, “Even when she’s not dressed up, she’s a true princess,” “I can see why guys like her so much,” and “Even as a girl, I recognize that she has a beautiful face.”

Seohyun is currently hosting MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core‘ with fellow Girls’ Generation sub-unit TaeTiSeo members Tiffany and Taeyeon.

TaeTiSeo wins '20's Trendy Music' award on Mnet's 20's Choice Awards

At recently concluded 2012 Mnet 20′s Choice Awards held on June 28th, the successful Girls’ Generation subunit TaeTiSeo won the ’20′s Trendy Music’ award, which nominees include Big Bang, SISTAR, FT Island and miss A.

Besides that, Girls’ Generation were also nominated for ’20′s Global Star’ award, ’20′s Style’ Award (Sooyoung) and ’20′s Drama Star (Female)’ award (Yoona).

Prior to the award presentation ceremony, which was held annually in South Korea, TaeTiSeo walked the blue carpet and turned many heads with their glamorous fashion. The trio also performed their hit single ‘Twinkle’, which has swept multiple wins for many consecutive weeks from the weekly music programs.

After receiving the award, Tiffany was interviewed by reporters and she said, “We are very happy to be able to receive so much love while something that we love. It feels really great and we are honored to receive such an award (20′s Trendy Music). We shall repay with more great music in the future.”

Taeyeon said, “In Girls’ Generation, it’s the first time we tried to promote as a unit and we are thankful for the hot response towards the very different and unique challenge that we took on.”

Seohyun added, “We are very thankful to all Girls’ Generation’s fans who continue to shower us with lots of supports even though we’re promoting as a unit and not Girls’ Generation as a whole. There are still performances to come. Since we’re going to show you our best side, we shall work hard in order to achieve that. In the future, we shall repay the award we received with more great songs.”

On June 28th, Mnet held the one and only summer awards ceremony for youth, the ‘20’s Choice Awards’ which took place at The Oasis in Banyan Tree Club & Spa.

The 6th 20’s Choice Awards was packed with a fresh wave of top stars which battled out in a variety of categories, including Male/Female Drama Star, Male/Female Movie Star, Trendy Music, Online Music, Variety Star, Global Star and Social Artist, among many others. 

The winners were chosen by combining 50 percent of online votes, 30 percent research results among those in their 20s and 20 percent from expert judge scores.

Yoona, Seohyun and Yuri top poll for gorgeous bare faces

SeoHyun, Yoona and Yuri were chosen by the netizens as first, second and third places for ‘cosmetic models who do not need cosmetics because their bare faces are prettier’ and proved that it is indeed Girls’ Generation’s era.

On the community portal site, DC Inside, a survey titled “Who are the cosmetic models who do not need cosmetics because their bare faces are prettier?” took place from June 19th to 26th. In this survey, YoonA placed first, SeoHyun second and Yuri third.

YoonA, who got 13,549 votes out of 31,076 votes (43.6%), have been Innisfree’s model since 2009 and came to be known as ‘Skin Beauty’. Yoona’s unique bright and pure image matches very well with the brand and her clean and bright skin expresses the brand’s concept very well.

SeoHyun, who received 13,014 votes (41.9%), became widely loved as the face of The Face Shop since 2011. She was praised that her pure and intelligent image suits the brand very well. She also sang the theme song for The Face Shop and is working ardently as their model.

Yuri, who received 1,602 votes (5.2%), started working as a model for Mamonde since this March. Yuri, who was chosen to be Mamonde’s model due to her outstanding talents as well as her friendly image, is known to have been using Mamonde’s product for a long time.

These three were followed by actresses Park ShinHye and Koo HyeSun as well as Miss A’s Suzy.

Sooyoung sights at news of celebrity couples

Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung has expressed her jealousy over the string of news on celebrity couples.

On the episode of “One Night of TV Entertainment” that aired on June 27th, a special segment was shown about recent couples and dating rumors in the entertainment industry.

Sooyoung sighed in envy, saying, “News about celebrity dating is just not ending.” Then fellow MC Yoon Do Hyun consoled Sooyoung asking, “What’s the matter? You still have plenty of opportunities.”

Sooyoung smiled and replied, “Is that so?”

Hyoyeon has trouble with her mini skirt at 96ny’s F/W event

Girls Generation‘s Hyoyeon and Seohyun were seen matching in mini skirts and white shirts during 96ny’s ’12 F/W New collection’ on June 26th.

While Seohyun wore a red wine colored mini skirt with a white, flowy top, Hyoyeon accentuated her matured beauty with a dark blue mini skirt and a crew neck white top. Unfortunately, her mini skirt was a little too big, causing her quite a bit of discomfort.

Why a fashion brand’s new collection event didn’t confirm her proper size is beyond us.

Sooyoung sighs in envy over celebrity relationships

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung jokingly expressed her jealousy over the overflowing news of celebrity relationships while MCing on SBS‘s ‘One Night in TV Entertainment‘.

After covering a story on the many celebrities that recently came forward to the public with their relationships, Sooyoung sighed presumably in envy, commenting, “There’s really no end to the news of celebrity relationships in the entertainment industry lately.”

Fellow MC Yoon Do Hyun turned to her to console, “What’s wrong? You still have plenty of opportunities.”

Sooyoung laughed while replying back, “Is that so?”

TaeTiSeo throws a party at Mnet's 20s Choice Awards

Following Seohyun’s birthday party with fellow SM Entertainment artists, Girls’ Generation unit TaeTiSeo has thrown another twinkling party on Mnet’s 20s Choice Awards.

TaeTiSeo, who showed their huge popularity in the first half of 2012 and achieved a triple crown on Mnet’s M Countdown, is set to attend the Mnet’s 20s Choice Awards on June 28th. Before the event, the girls held their own little party on June 27.

In the revealed pictures, TaeTiSeo members, Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun are enjoying a party in a hotel room decorated festively with pretty balloons. The three girls are wearing flashy and glittery dresses and partied with drinks and cake.
