'Prime Minister and I' has received a one-episode extension!

KBS announced to the delight of fans of the show, "'Prime Minister and I' was initially set for 16 episodes, but as the December 31st episode will not air due to the 'KBS Drama Awards', it will instead be extended by one episode and air its final 17th episode on February 4... 'Full Sun' will air following 'Prime Minister and I' on February 10."

Now fans will get to see more of Girls' Generation's YoonA and Lee Bum Soo!

Girls' Generation visit the set of 'Prime Minister and I' to support YoonA

Girls' Generation visited the set of KBS 2TV's 'Prime Minister and I' on December 29 to show their support for fellow member YoonA.  Unfortunately, it appears Tiffany was not able to make it, but the girls still showed off their cozy team spirit as they posed for pictures.

In the above picture, Girls' Generation are posing together happily while holding up various hand signs.  The members stated, "Although it was small act, we came here to show our support in hopes of giving some heartfelt strength to YoonA, who has a busy year-end schedule consisting of both side-by-side performances and drama."

The drama's production team stated, "The cast and crew were able to forget the cold and film in a warm atmosphere thanks to Girls' Generation's surprise visit, which was like a year-end present from which we gained strength.  We'd like to take this chance to thank Girls' Generation."

The girls also posed with a very happy-looking Lee Bum Soo in the picture below!

Sooyoung won the 'Rookie MC Award' at SBS Entertainment Awards

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung won the "Rookie MC Award" at SBS Entertainment awards held on 30th December.

She attended the ceremony in an elegant white dress, garnering much attention with her slim figure. Check out her winning speech below.

Sooyoung Reflects on 2013 and the ‘SBS Entertainment Awards’: ‘Gather Round SONE’

On December 31st, Sooyoung posted a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website in which she looked back on 2013 and discussed winning the “MC Newcomer” award at the “SBS Entertainment Awards”.

Being able to spend the last day of 2013 with SONE…

Come to think of it, this was a year that had many things to be thankful for in various respects^ㅡ^ㅎㅎ

There were times that I complained out of habit

Still, looking back, I think it was a year that had more moments that were happier!

While we didn’t get to meet often, spending the 31st together

Was quite a relief and grateful incident if you think about it, right^^? ㅎㅎ

Yesterday, the humbling newcomer award! Doodoong*^^!

I’m grateful, again, for being able to go up one step at a time

And being able to be together with a good program and good people ^^

Being able to meet and make SONE laugh once a week

I’m really grateful, and, thanks to Hanbam**, it was the best year^_^

With not much [time] left.. There really isn’t much [time] left ㅎㅎ

Sooyoung Wins ‘MC Newcomer’ Award at ‘SBS Entertainment Awards’

On December 30th, Taeyeon and Sooyoung attended the “SBS Entertainment Awards” held at the SBS Prism Tower, where Sooyoung received the “Newcomer MC” award for her role as an MC on “Midnight TV Entertainment” alongside Yoon Dohyun. Yoo Jaesuk and Song Jihyo presented Sooyoung with the award, who thanked her parents, her sister, the members of Girls’ Generation, SONEs, and her friends who watch the show, despite it being a live broadcast on Wednesdays. Sooyoung also thanked Lee Sooman and other staff members of SM Entertainment, as well as the staff of “Midnight TV Entertainment”. To Yoon Dohyun, Sooyoung said that if he wouldn’t mind, she would like to continue to “tag along” as his co-host. Sooyoung ended her acceptance speech by saying that she would work hard and to look forward to Girls’ Generation’s activities in 2014.

Taeyeon also attended the “SBS Entertainment Awards” to present the “Top Excellence” awards. With Kim Sungsoo, Taeyeon presented the “Top Excellence” awards to both Song Jihyo and Lee Kyungkyu.

Taeyeon later posted a photo on her Instagram account with a caption that congratulated Sooyoung and Song Jihyo on their awards, reading, “I went to the Entertainment Awards! Our Sooyoung, congratulations ♥ Jihyo unnie too”.
