Female Korean POP Idols are currently making waves on different parts of Asia including Japan. These girls are not just making names because of their unique music, but also because of their outstanding physical features that can already be considered as "world class."

With this, a survey was made by several Dermatologists, and they had come up with the Top 5 Female Idols with the Most Gorgeous Legs. Amazingly, 2 ladies from 4Minute made it to be a part of the list.

4Minute's Gayoon appeared at 2nd, after UEE of After School, with the statement:

"The fastest growing beauty of 4Minute, as called by her fans, was said to have ’subtle glamor’. Despite of having a baby face, she has shapely and athletic legs. The doctors agreed that she had “perfect hip and leg lines” and “smooth calf muscles”.

After SNSD's Sooyoung and before SISTAR's Bora is our very own, Kim HyunA, with the following explanations:

"Dancing to her solo hit: "Change," she was able to garner a lot of male and female fans. Her pelvic dance plus her moist white skin perfectly showed and elevated her ideal and charming leg lines. Comments said that: "Her dancing shows her elastic and attractive leg lines" and “Her smooth thighs don’t even have any trace of fat and are covered with her beautiful skin.”

This survey shows that our girls are not only exceptional in terms of their talents, but also with their NATURAL physical attractiveness.

[News] SNSD took their first step as G20 Star Supporters

At 1.00pm on October 25th, SNSD attended the launching of the “Talking to The G20 Leaders” at COEX Millenium Square in Seoul, urging and encourage the public to participate in the promotional activities of the Seoul G20 Summit Meeting which will be held in November this year.

SNSD who were appointed as the G20 Star Supporters by the committee in charge of the preparation of the summit, kicked off their role as an ambassador to the event by particpating the launch of the campaign.

Sooyoung said, “We are thankful for being appointed as the G20 Star Supporters. The Seoul G20 Summit Meeting will be the first to be held in Asia and we are proud of it. We shall continue to promote this event while having our future activities abroad”.

At a booth set up for the event, SNSD members demonstrate ways to promote and encourage public’s participation in the G20 campaign using pictures and videos. Here’s a picture of Seohyun teaching how the messages can be conveyed :

When asked if there is any message regarding the summit that she wanted to deliver, Seohyun replied, “We will do our very best in promoting the G20 Summit which will be held in Seoul”.

Despite the cold weather, 300 fans turned up at this event. This is an indication of SNSD’s massive popularity ahead of their comeback to the music stages on October 29th on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank”

[News] Jessica got into “food” controversy with netizens

On Japanese music program, NHK’s “Music Japan” aired on October 24th, in reply to the MC’s question about her favorite Japanese food, Jessica replied, “Yakiniku”.

Yakiniku literally stands for “grilled meat”. In Korea, the almost-similar dish is called “bulgogi” and it was believed to be the origin of Yakiniku. Yakiniku is introduced in Japan through adaptation and modification to the original Korean dish, bulgogi during the colonial era.

Because of Jessica’s answer, netizens were quick to response and queried as to why Jessica likes to eat Japanese food originated from Korea.

Accusations were made by netizens who commented:

-”This situation is similar to Japanese singers replying “sushi” on TV programs when they’re asked about their favorite Korean food”
-”I was wondering why she would choose a Korean food when she was asked about her favorite Japanese food”.
-”At that moment, I thought Bulgogi is a Japanese food”

[News] Pandemonium strikes at KPop Night 2010 – about SNSD, SHINee and many more!

Seven Korean acts bedazzled our sunny little isle with a repertoire of song and dance at the one-night only Korean Pop Night 2010

Scream your hearts out ladies and gentlemen, K-Pop fever’s taking over Singapore!

Titillating slender legs, slick sharp dance moves, catchy rap verses, and rousing music sets were all order of the night at one of the biggest Korean-centric concert held in Singapore last night.

The Singapore Expo Hall 2 was momentarily transformed into a colourful sea of screaming fans decked out in official fanclub colours such as pink, yellow, blue-green, and white. Primadonnas (fans of F.T. Island) waved their little treasure island flags with much pride and enthusiasm, VIPs (fans of Big Bang) toted little yellow crowns on their head, SONEs (fans of Girls’ Generation) lighted up the arena with their glowing pink sabers, and Shawols (fans of SHINee) turned up full-force with their devilish horns.

To get all 8,000 concertgoers’ adrenalin pumping and fans grooving on their feet, Korean rock quintet F.T. Island were the first group to go on stage as they stirred up the crowd with heart-thumping number after number. Though the group got off to a rough start – no thanks to the wonky sound system at the Expo Halls – they played their hearts out and pulled off an almost flawless performance.

D-NA and ZE:A were the next groups to go on stage following F.T. Island’s set. The young’uns blew air kisses and interacted with fans, sharing that that are “happy to be here” in this “beautiful city”. Infinite then took the stage and wowed all present with their uniform and slick footwork for their hit song ‘Come Back Again’.

The crowd grew rowdier when SHINee took over the stage with their addictive tune, ‘Replay’, as fans at the seating area rushed out to catch a clearer glimpse of their idols. A five-member group, only four (Onew, Key, Taemin, and Minho) were present last night as Jonghyun was back in Korea nursing a leg injury. Despite lacking in full-strength, they impressed all the same, driving fans wild with their hypnotic dance tunes like ‘Lucifer’ and ‘Ring Ding Dong’.

Following SHINee, Korea’s most popular girl group, Girls’ Generation upped the ante with their sexy dance moves, pretty pins and alluring marine outfits. The nine girls drove both male and female fans wild and entranced all with their captivating ‘Genie’, and the catchy rhythms of ‘Oh!’.

Saving the best for last, all hell broke loose when Big Bang took over the stage with their Japanese number ‘Gara Gara Go’. The five-member group clearly garnered the biggest shrills and screams from the crowd as many sitting members clamoured to get on their feet and chairs, rocking to their raps and catchy hip-hop tunes in unison.

The concert concluded on a rip-roaring note with all seven groups gathered on the stage’s runway platform for its finale performance. It was a particularly poignant moment for many who would have never thought they would be able to catch their idols in person.

Music transcends boundaries and that was aptly displayed in last night’s gig. You don’t have to know the lyrics to the song to sway to its melody, nor understand the language to feel the performers’ passion and dedication.

[News] Who are the girl group members with the nicest legs?

SNSD has been extremely successful in both Japan and Korea, and their popularity can be attributed somewhat to their long, slender legs. However, there are other Korean artists who are also known for such desirable legs. In a survey done by dermatologists and plastic surgeons, the top five were chosen as follows:

1. UEE (After School)

She is known to be the master of “honey thighs”. As a former competitive swimmer, she has trained her leg muscles extensively. Unfortunately, she has recently been plagued with negative comments over her weight. Nevertheless, comments by the judges included: “Legs I want to touch”, “The balance between her torso length and leg length is perfect”, and “Her long calves are refreshing”.

2. Huh Gayoon (4minute)

By her fans, she is said to have ’subtle glamor’. Despite having a baby face, she has athletic legs. The doctors agreed that she had “perfect leg lines” and “smooth calf muscles”.

3. Sooyoung (SNSD)

She has legs that don’t seem Asian. Sooyoung has received interest over her legs since she debuted. Having said that, many SNSD members are known for their legs, such as Seohyun, Jessica, and Tiffany. They said about Sooyoung though, “These are legs that do not need photoshop. Are these legs of an Asian?” and “Her smooth thighs don’t even have any trace of fat.”

4. Hyuna (4minute)

She gained a lot of male fans through her solo song, ‘Change‘, and her pelvic dance showcased her ideal legs. Comments included: “Her thigh lines are charming when she dances” and “Her thighs and calves have no trace of fat”.

5. Bora (Sistar)

Despite being around average height (165 cm), she has long slender legs. During the MBC Chusok special, ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships’, she won the 100m race and the nickname, ‘Boshain Bolt’. They commented, “She has golden ratio legs” and “The way her thighs, calves and ankles connect is flawless.”

[News] SNSD took online real-time charts by storm

SNSD who transformed into lovely spies following the “Retro Power” concept for the new mini album “Hoot” have received interest from various parties, especially with the release of the title track “Hoot” which took the Korean music industry by storm immediately after it was unveiled by securing the no.1 spot on major online real-time music charts.

Prior to the release of title track “Hoot” via various music sites at 10.00am KST on October 25th, teaser MV and photos which were released earlier have increased the expectation and anticipation towards the 3rd mini album.

As soon as it was unveiled, “Hoot” had surpassed songs from the likes of 2PM, Psy, Supreme Team and SG Wannabe in terms of online real-time chart ranking where it secured the no.1 spot on Monkey3, Melon and Soribada. Such achievement is an early indication that “Hoot” has a huge potential to take the country’s music scene by storm.

Title track “Hoot” boasts a blend of lively retro feel rythm and each member’s unique voices which adds more varieties and charms to the song. “Hoot” represents the sound of laughter and the lyrics is about a girl conveying a warning to her boyfriend who often hurts her.

With the release of the mini album, the girls are expected to create a new “syndrome” where the public and music industry would take notice of their fashions and performances, especially during their promotional activities of the new mini album.

SNSD will be officially releasing the mini album on October 27th and they be making a comeback on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” at 5.50pm KST on October 29th with “Hoot”.

In the evening of October 24th, Hyoyeon and SNSD pulled off a great performance at the “Kia Motor’s Unity Hope Dream Concert” held at Sangmu Public Park, West Gwangju. One particular aspect which attracted the attention of many is Hyoyeon’s seductive smile.

The concert saw participation of various artists such as SNSD, Secret, Infinite, SG Wannabe, etc. At the concert, SNSD also talked about their upcoming 3rd mini album “Hoot”.

[News] SNSD speaks at ‘G20 Star Supporters’ promotional event

After being appointed as honorary “G20 Star Supporters“, SNSD set out on October 25th to participate in “Speak At the Top of G20“, a campaign activity aiming to promote the G20 summit to youths.

Due to their various Japanese promotions, the girls were unable to attend the ceremony last week; consequently, this will be their first official activity as G20 summit supporters.

Speaking at the Coex Millennium Plaza, all 9 ladies utilized various video footages and pictures to help deliver their messages in a more personal way to their target audience.

SNSD stated, “We were extremely glad whenever we heard that fans became interested in Korea through our overseas activities. We hope that this summit will allow more people to learn about Korea.”
