'Fashion King' rises alone

Only SBS drama ‘Fashion King’ increased in viewing percentage.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on April 3rd, ‘Fashion King’ rated 10.1% with its April 2nd episode which is more than the 9.6% rated on the 27th of March.

MBC ‘Lights and Shadows’ fell from 23.2% to 21.7% but still stood strong in the lead. ‘Love Rain’, on the other hand, also fell from the previous 5.2%.

Meanwhile, Ga Young (Shin Se Kyung) was misunderstood as Young Gul's (Yoo Ah In) secret lover and was criticized by the people.

‘Fashion King’ tells the story of young aspiring designers in Dongdaemun Market as they dream of success, and the relationships, love, and challenges they face along the way.

Yuri humiliated by YoonA's force

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri was humiliated by the force of fellow member YoonA.

A short video titled “Completely Intimidated Yuri” was recently posted on an online community forum. The video shows YoonA and Yuri getting out of a van. 

The two members simultaneously exited the van, with YoonA exiting from the back seat and Yuri from the front. Unfortunately, YoonA’s exit caused the car door to fling open, leaving Yuri trapped between the front and back doors. Unsure of what to do, Yuri made a frowning expression, which caused laughter to netizens.

Netizens commented, “Yuri’s long face looks so cute”, “That is funny!” and “I’m curious to see what happened next.”

How tiny is Yoona's waist?

A recent appearance of Yoona at a television show has sparked the interest of netizens. Recently, screencaps of SNSD appearing at a variety show in a television show in Japan that aired on the 31st of March was shared on online communities.

On the photo's you can see the girls of SNSD having laughs at the show however what sparked the interest of netizens was when Yoona placed her hands on her waist and you can see how tiny her waist is. All in all Yoona has such a slender physique and her tiny waist is a proof of that. I wonder how many inches her waist measures.

Girls' Generation featured on Fuji TV's Mecha-Ike

Girls’ Generation’s actual off-the-stage behavior was revealed.

Girls’ Generation was featured on Japan’s Fuji TV ‘Mecha-Mecha Iketeru! (commonly known as just Mecha-Ike)’ aired on March 31st. ‘Mecha-Ike’, a variety show with a format somewhat similar to SBS ‘Running Man’ is hosted by Takashi Okamura and Hiroyuki Yabe. On the previous episode, Okamura and his ‘expedition team’ set out to look for Girls’ Generation who were featured as the ‘Girl Clan’, the descendants of ancient residents living in Seoul.

The Japanese production staff had secretly installed cameras in SM Entertainment’s building to observe the girls’ actual behavior. Even when the cameras were not on them, the girls were playing and laughing heartily. The atmosphere was filled with warmth as the members revealed their friendly characters.

Jessica, who was nicknamed ‘Ice Princess’ due to her cool facial expressions seen on magazines, gave out the brightest smile and laughter as she was having conversations with the other members.

Besides that, the natural behavior of the girls who were busy concentrating on the nail arts on their nails, sending messages on their cell phones, eating their meals, etc were all captured on the hidden cameras.

During their dance rehearsal, the girls burst into laughter when a Japanese comedian who pretended to be a photographer started following Girls’ Generation’s dance moves out of a sudden. In the end, the girls were literally ‘captured’ when a net was released on them.

According to the ‘Mecha-Ike’ production staff, the filming took place in the middle of March in Seoul, after taking consideration of Girls’ Generation’s schedule. From ‘Mecha-Mecha Iketeru’ onwards, the girls are expected to be featured in various variety programs in the future.

Jang Geun Suk releases ‘Love Rain’ OST Part II

New KBS drama series ‘Love Rain‘ starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation member Yoonais currently drawing much attention from viewers after officially airing it’s first episode.

In addition to the first OST “Love Is Like Rain”, Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk who plays the leading male role in the drama has now released the second track for the OST titled “Love Rain“.

The pleasant melody of the new track and Jang Geun Suk’s smooth vocals pair well with the drama’s sweet love story.

SM releases new teaser for "I AM" movie

SM Entertainment will be releasing a biographical movie titled “I AM”. On April 3rd, the agency released another teaser for the upcoming film.

“I AM” documents the performances and daily lives of SM artist at the previous “SMTOWN Live in New York” held at Madison Square Garden. The biographical movie, directed by Choi Shinsung, features Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, f(x) and SHINee.

The movie is set to be released this May. 

SM Entertainment to kick off 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR'

Last year, large scale Kpop concerts in Australia, Japan, Thailand and other countries were successfully held and this year, MBC, one of the leading forces behind the world’s Hallyu craze is set to bring Kpop to the home of mainstream music from all over the world, the United States of America.

Come May 20th, the ‘MBC Korean Music Wave in LA’, jointly organized by MBC and SM Town, will be held at Honda Centre in Anaheim, Los Angeles.

The concert which will be headlined by leaders of Kpop craze from SM Entertainment such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee, f(x), etc is seen as a very different and huge project compared to the Hallyu concerts organized before it. There is already a growing anticipation among Hallyu fans towards the May 20th concert.

The large-scale Hallyu concert will be aired as ‘MBC Korean Music Wave in LA – SM Town Special!’ and besides the performances, backstage scenes will also be revealed through the broadcast.

In addition to the concert in LA, other dates for the ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅲ’ were also announced, including August 4th and 5th in Tokyo Dome, Japan and August 18th in Seoul Jamsil Main Stadium. ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅲ’ is also expected to be held in Beijing and other major cities in Asia and other parts of the world.

Jessica and Lee Dong Wook spotted together at a birthday party!

That's right! Actor Lee Dong Wook and SNSD Member Jessica was spotted together at a private birthday party of entertainer Jeon Jun Ha. The two were invited and were spotted seated together during the birthday party.

Two the are co-stars in the drama "Wild Romance" and the two showed their close friendship on various event's already and the two are comfortable with each other and the recent sighting of the two just proves that. The two took a break from their busy schedule and enjoyed each others company at the birthday party. The two laughed and talked to each other and were just wearing simple casual clothing.

You can see them smiling at each other and having a good conversation and it seems that they also left the party together. Look's like being co-stars in the drama has turned them into close friends... and perhaps their relationship will deepen in the near future?

SM Town to embark on a World Tour this year!

Exciting news for SM Entertainment artist fans! It has been announced that SM Entertainment artists will be having another world tour this year and its name "SM Town Live World Tour Ⅲ" and just like their previous world tour this world tour will be a large scale tour.

The world tour will begin this May 20, 2012 in United States then progress to LA. After this they will be going to Japan on the 4th and 5th of August and perform at the Tokyo Dome and then they will perform next in Seoul on the 18th of August. They are also confirmed to make a stop in Beijing, China however the schedule is still to be arranged as well as other stops for their world tour.

SM Town had their first tour in 2008 and then in 2010 where they toured in Seoul, LA, Paris, New York, Shanghai and many other countries. This will be the third installment to SM Towns world tour and fans all over the world are excited to meet their favorite artists from SM Entertainment once more.

‘Love Rain’, Jang Geun Suk plants a gentle kiss on Girls’ Generation member Yoona

Actor Jang Geun Suk placed a kiss on Yoona‘s cheek after confirming his feelings for her.

On the third episode of KBS2‘s ‘Love Rain‘ that aired on April 2nd, Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Yoona) enjoyed a romantic date after realizing they both had feelings for one another.

Upon hearing that In Ha would be heading to his hometown before enlisting in the military, Yoon Hee immediately left for Chuncheon to find him.

After a few twists and turns, Yoon Hee finally finds him and the two enjoy a lovely movie date. But after missing the last train back to Seoul, Yoon Hee and In Ha decide to head towards the East Sea.

Yoon Hee asked In Ha if he had completed his self-composed song ‘Love Rain‘, and the two attempted to finish the song together.

In Ha then decided to clearly express his feelings for Yoon Hee by placing a gentle kiss on her cheek.

Meanwhile, Baek Hae Jung (Son Eunseo) who is in love with In Ha is heartbroken after realizing his heart is not with her, but with Yoon Hee.
