SNSD’s Seohyun visits basketball coach Park Seung Il

Former basketball coach Park Seung Il made headlines several times over the year because of his close relationship with SNSD members.

Park, who’s been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a big fan of SNSD and so it inspired member Sooyoung to visit him at the hospital and more recently, he attended SNSD’s concert.

On August 3rd, maknae member Seohyun paid a visit to the hospital, and the visit was said to have put Park in good spirits. The two snapped some photos together, which Park shared on his website, writing, “SNSD’s maknae and mom together…”.

Besides brightening his spirits with her visit, Seohyun also gave Park Seung Il a gift, which were an exclusive album with the members’ signatures and a portable DVD player.

Tiffany attends ‘Spring Awakening’ show to support Isak

On August 3rd, Isak revealed a snapshot documenting the strong love shared between the SMTOWNfamily. She tweeted, “Thank you pretty Tiffany for coming to my show today. It’s such a relief that you enjoyed it.”

Yuri, Tiffany and Sooyoung to emcee 'Kpop All Star Live in Niigata' on August 20th

According to Japanese media, Nikkan Sports on August 4th, Yuri, Tiffany and Sooyoung will be the MCs for ‘Kpop All Star Live in Niigata’, the largest Kpop festival in Japan which will be taking place on August 20th.

Organized by MBC in support of the reconstruction efforts in Japan after the catastrophic earthquake back in March this year, the charity concert will be graced by popular Kpop stars such as SNSD, Kara, 2pm, 2am, CN Blue, Beast, 4minute, Infinite, Teen Top, Sistar, Secret, Norazo, etc.

Being the largest Kpop event ever in Japan’s history, ‘Kpop All Star Live in Niigata’ is expected to attract a huge audience of 46,000.

After the visit, Park Seung Il posted a picture, commenting, “Youngest member of SNSD with my mother…” Seohyun gave Park Seung Il SNSD’s limited album with their signature and DVD player.

In the picture, Park Seung Il looks happy. Park Seung Il went to SNSD’s 2nd exclusive concert and took a picture with SNSD’s members.
