Taeyeon to Appear on SBS’s ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Trip’

On April 8th, Taeyeon will appear on SBS’s “The World’s Most Beautiful Trip”. The episode will feature a young boy, Woojin, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, which has paralyzed his muscles. The young boy is fan of Taeyeon, and so his parent’s and the show’s staff arranged for the two to meet on the show.

A description for the episode was released, which read, “This special meeting that ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Trip’ team has arranged! The opportunity to meet Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who had been a comfort in his fight with his illness. Will Woojin be able to take another step at the world through this special meeting?”

Taeyeon’s appearance on “The World’s Most Beautiful Trip” will air later tonight at 5:35 PM KST.

Sunny Attends ‘Rio 2′ Showcase

On April 8th, Sunny attended a showcase event for “Rio 2″, an upcoming animated film in which Sunny is voice-acting for a female macaw, Jewel. The event took place at CGV Yeouido in Seoul. Sunny attended the event in a blue and white outfit and posed for photos with her co-stars in the film.

During the showcase, Sunny was also interviewed and gave her thoughts on voice-acting for the film. She revealed, “I really enjoyed the first movie, ‘Rio 1′. When they asked me to be cast for ‘Rio 2′, I accepted it right away. I found out later that my character was a mother of three children and was worried, but I did my best. It was the first married female character that I took on, but it was okay because I was a bird.”

Several new videos for “Rio 2″ released in the past few weeks may be seen here and here. “Rio 2″ will premiere in Korea on May 1st.
