YoonA belatedly revealed to have been involved in a minor car accident back in November



It has been belatedly revealed that Girls' Generation's YoonA was involved in a minor accident last month but fortunately suffered no injuries.


Multiple insiders informed Sports DongA"We heard that YoonA suffered a minor car accident in November... The cause of the accident was due to the stationary vehicle, which YoonA was riding in, being rear-ended by another car by accident."

YoonA was on her way for a schedule, with her manager driving the car, when the accident occurred. Fortunately, it has been revealed that both parties did not suffer any big injuries.

To ease the worries of fans who have just learned of the news, SM Entertainment rep told Newsen on the 12th, "[YoonA] was involved in a car accident early November. It was a very minor collision so there were no injuries."

So rest assured, YoonA is safe-and-sound and will continue to carry out her filming schedule for 'Prime Minister and I' as well as perform at Girls' Generation's 'SMTOWN WEEK' concert on the 22nd.



Girls' Generation appear in this year's 'YouTube Rewind' video!



YouTube released their annual rewind video for 2013 where all the top stars gathered to have a lot of fun celebrating the year of awesome videos and music.  As Girls' Generation have been receiving incredible attention for their videos on YouTube this year, they were included in the video!


However, due to their busy schedules and far away locations, it appears neither were able to join in on the fun too much.  Girls' Generation appeared on a small TV screen for a few seconds at around the 2:13 mark while Psy made no appearance, but his "Gentleman" song is prominently featured in the video.

After having the most viewed video in 2012 (including all-time on YouTube). Girls' Generation also celebrated by winning 'Video of the Year' with "I Got A Boy" at the YouTube Music Awards.

Girls' Generation's Japanese album 'Love & Peace' debuts at #1 on Oricon's Daily Album Chart



Girls' Generation's new Japanese album 'Love & Peace' was released on December 11 in Japan and already grabbed the top spot on Oricon's Daily Album Chart! The album sold 37,486 copies on the first day.


With an interesting variety of upbeat and catchy songs, it is no surprise the album won over the hearts of all their fans in Japan.  You can listen to the previews for each of the new songs here.

Taeyeon blooms like a flower for CECI!




SNSD's Taeyeon is going to head start your 2014 with her flowery pictorial for CECI's January issue.

Preview photos of Taeyeon have been uploaded online showing the SNSD's leader in full white laced dress lying on the ground oozing with her feminine charms.





Her close up shot with a tiny white flower on her mouth depicts a beautiful young blooming lady which compliments her prominent facial features.

The cover issue of Taeyeon's pictorial will be made available on January next year.

Girls’ Generation Nominated in Three Categories for the ’28th Golden Disk Awards’

Girls’ Generation has been nominated in three categories for the “28th Golden Disk Awards”: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and the Popularity Award.

The awards ceremony will be held in the Grand Peace Palace at Kyung Hee University on January 16th, 2014, from 5:00 PM to 8:50 PM KST. Winners of the awards will be decided based on voting, album sales, and judges’ opinions.
In the past, Girls’ Generation received the Digital Daesang at the 2009 “Golden Disk Awards”, the Disk Daesang in 2010, and the Digital Daesang in 2011, thus receiving the honor of being the first girl group to win for three consecutive years. Last year, Girls’ Generation – TTS was also nominated for three categories at the “27th Golden Disk Awards“.
