‘Girls’ Generation EXPRESS’ cafe holds a successful grand opening

The Girls’ Generation themed cafe ‘Girls’ Generation EXPRESS‘ finally opened on February 7th and held a successful grand opening, drawing both domestic and international fans.

The cafe opened in the trendy section of Southern Seoul, Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong and offered Valentine’s Day themed chocolate and baked goods. The cozy interior created a refreshing atmosphere. Girls’ Generation t-shirts and merchandise were also available for sale.

‘Girls’ Generation EXPRESS’ will be temporarily open inside the Rabbit in the Moon cafe in Seoul from February 7 to the 17th.

YoonA feels pressured by ‘center position’ in group?

Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA shared her thoughts on being the ‘center position’ of the group.

On the February 8th ‘Section TV‘, YoonA and actor Lee Min Ho featured as guests. The two stars are the current endorsement models for the outdoor clothing brand Eider.

During their interview, YoonA was asked how she feels about being the ‘center position’ as well as the ‘visual’ of Girls’ Generation. She stated, “At first, I felt a lot of pressure about the center spot, but now I’m used to it. The members usually tell me to stand in the middle too.”

Lee Min Ho later made a comment about the idol star, saying, “I know I look older than I am, but I think YoonA [is going to catch up with me too].” Though initially caught off-guard, YoonA then agreed that she thinks she is looking older than her age as well.

Which Girls’ Generation member is the most popular in Japan?

According to an ongoing poll, Jessica is the most popular Girls’ Generation member in Japan.

A large online community portal in Japan is running a popularity poll on the Girls’ Generation members. So far, Jessica is first with 5,254 votes (19.9%). YoonA ranks at #2 with 4,482 (16.9%) of the votes, andTaeyeon is at a close #3 with 4,295 (16.2%) of the votes. Seohyun landed at #4, Tiffany at #5,Hyoyeon at #6, Sooyoung in 7th place, and Yuri in 8th. Sunny is currently last place with 590 votes (2.2%).

The girls will be kicking off their Japanese ‘2013 Girls’ Generation Arena Tour‘ starting in Kobe on February 9th.
