Unexpected friends Girls' Generation's Jessica and Davichi's Kang Min Kyung hung out and grabbed a meal together.

On July 29, Kang Min Kyung posted the above photo to Instagram as well as the message,"When I call her Jessica unni, everyone always asks me [why I'm calling her unni],"referring to the fact that many mistakenly think Kang Min Kyung is older than she actually is. 

In the photo, the two look quite happy to be spending time together and eating good food. In other news, Jessica is currently starring on the reality show 'Jessica & Krystal' with her sister, while Davichi recently signed on with CJ E&M.

‘The Best’ Album Tops Oricon Weekly Chart and Ranks First on Daily Chart for Six Consecutive Days

The Oricon Chart, which records statistics on sales in the music industry in Japan, has reported that Girls’ Generation’s “The Best” album is ranked first for the week of August 4th. This is Girls’ Generation’s third album, following “Girls’ Generation” and “LOVE&PEACE”, to take first place on an Oricon weekly chart, making Girls’ Generation the first non-Japanese artist in Asia to ever have three albums to top the weekly chart.

“The Best” has also ranked first on the daily Oricon album charts for six consecutive days, from July 22nd to July 27th. Since its release, the album has sold 75,000 copies.

Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal Chosen as Models for LAPALETTE’s 2014 F/W Line

Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal have been selected as models for LAPALETTE’s 2014 fall/winter line. The photoshoot that the Jung sisters participated in for the fashion brand will be featured on the ninth episode of OnStyle’s “Jessica & Krystal”, to air on July 29th.

Jessica and Krystal have also endorsed jewelry brand STONEHENgE. In addition, they have participated in several other photoshoots together, including for “1st Look“, “NYLON“, “me!“, and “Harper’s Bazaar” magazines. The two sisters will also be attending a fan meet sponsored by LI-NING, a Chinese brand Jessica is currently a model for, later this year.
