Why did Sunny threaten to throw YoonA down the stairs?

On the February 5th episode of JTBC ‘Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Teens‘, a mock trial was held to settle the fight between Kim Hee Hoon Park Kyung Kyu.
Girls’ Generation member YoonA admitted that, because of her overly playful personality, her fellow members have gotten annoyed with her on several occasions.
She shared that once, all the exhausted girls were sleeping backstage at a music program, but YoonA decided she wanted to pester Sunny with her aegyo.
In her tired state, Sunny responded to Yoona by threatening, “I’m going to push you down the stairs!”
Sunny was a bit taken aback and tried to throw Yuri under the bus with her saying Yuri was furious too, but Yuri remarked, “I don’t remember,“leaving Sunny in a hilariously embarrassing and defenseless situation.

Girls’ Generation on their ‘David Letterman Show’ & ‘Live! With Kelly’ performances

The February 6th airing of SBS ‘Good Morning‘ spent some time with the members of Girls’ Generation who spoke out about performing on major talk shows in America.
After performing live on the ‘David Letterman Show‘, member Sooyoung remarked, “It’s an honor to be the first Korean girl group to perform on the ‘David Letterman Show’, and although there was a lot of pressure before we went on, I think we were able to forget our anxiety and just enjoy ourselves on stage.”
The girls also performed “The Boys” on famous morning talk show ‘Live! With Kelly‘ and taught some of their dance moves to the host.
At the interview that took place afterwards, member Yuri remarked, “To be honest, we haven’t officially started our album promotions in America just yet, but I would like to, and I would also like to embark on an American tour. I know this is quite a big dream, but I hope that one day we will even be able to tour the entire world.”
Leader Taeyeon also added something she is personally hoping for. ”We go overseas a lot for events and performances, and so now I really want a chartered plane!”, she said.

Girls' Generation bring electronics retailer Best Buy to a stand still

After making three television appearances in the United States, Girls’ Generation took the time to say hello to fans at a branch of the consumer electronics retailer Best Buy. SM Entertainment confirmed that the band stopped by a Best Buy store at Union Square in New York on Thursday to hold its very first fan meeting in the States.

More than 1,300 fans came to meet the girls and ask for autographs, resulting in a temporary stoppage of operations in order to accommodate the influx of people. Police were also called in for crowd control. Despite the chaos, the K-pop group politely greeted its U.S. fans and signed autographs for a full 90 minutes.

“Fans lined up from early morning in order to see the band. Best Buy has informed us that this is the first time since Lady Gaga’s visit that they had to stop operating the store temporarily,” said a representative from SM Entertainment.

The nine-member girl group was in the United States and performed on the legendary U.S. late-night talk show “Late Show with David Letterman” and other shows.
