Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo, who has recently began her solo career with debut album "MIRYO aka JOHONEY", has released the full music video for "I Love You, I Love You".
"I Love You, I Love You" is mid-tempo track that features Girls' Generation's Sunny. The track features Miryo's charismatic rap and Sunny's soothing vocals.
On February 9th, Girls’ Generation held a press conference where they talked about their plans for Europe. Afterwards, a cake was rolled out for Sooyoung, kicking off a surprise birthday party. Sooyoung was also given a bouquet with 22 pink roses, one for each year, which drew a big smile from the star.
A trailer for the February 10th episode of SBS sitcom "Salamander Guru" has been revealed, featuring the cameo appearances of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, INFINITE's L and BEAST's Junhyung.
Taeyeon will play the daughter of a wealthy family, who escaped from home to avoid discussing her arranged marriage. Soon after, Taeyeon falls in love with the genius hacker Minhyuk (SHINee's Minho) and tries her best to captivate him.
BEAST's Junhyung and INFINITE's L will play the roles of Joker and L, respectively. They’ve stolen many expensive pictures with Minhyuk, who is nicknamed “Shadow,” breaking security systems at rich people’s houses. Unlike Minhyuk, who wants to let go of his past, Joker and L are still living in the dark world.

Receiving explosive reactions from the audience on France’s no.1 talk show ‘Le Grand Journal, Girls’ Generation has completed their first performance on French TV successfully.
Girls’ Generation made an appearance on Canal+’s no.1 French talk show ‘Le Grand Journal’ which was aired at 7pm (Paris local time) on February 9th. The girls’ impressive performance of ‘The Boys’ captivated the French viewers.
As soon as Girls’ Generation took to the stage, the whole venue was filled with cheers from the audience and SONEs chanted ‘Jigeumeun So Nyeo Shi Dae, Apeurodo So Nyeo Shi Dae, Youngwonhi So Nyeo Shi Dae’. The explosive response could be seen as the fans sang along with the girls.
In addition, the panels of the show which include the MC of the program, Michel Denisot were amazed at the performance and reactions from the audience and said, “This explosive reaction is really an extraordinary phenomenon” and “It’s hard to single out any of the members because all of them are amazing”.
After completing their performance at ‘Le Grand Journal’, Girls’ Generation revealed their thoughts about the performance, “As that was our very first performance on French TV, it feels great to receive such an explosive response. Also, it was amazing that they even know the fan chants in Korean. In the future, we will be the Girls’ Generation who will work even harder.”
Meanwhile, the girls also had an interview with French TV, M6′s main news at the ‘Music Bank in Paris’ concert venue. After completing their promotion in France, Girls’ Generation will be departing from Paris to Bangkok on February 10th for their solo concert tour.
Yoon Hyunjoon, the PD of “Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Boys”, said that Sooyoung and Seohyun shed tears for the boys during their performance.
All of the Girls’ Generation members went to watch the boys perform at “Street Jam Competion”, which is located in AX Hall, on February 5th, except for Jessica and Yoona, who had schedules on the day itself.
In a phone call with OSEN, Yoon Hyunjoon said, “Girls’ Generation gave an amazing reaction to the boys’ performance. They were proud and also moved by the hard work put in by the boys.” He also added, “Sooyoung and Seohyun even shed tears. Seohyun cried a lot, but Sooyoung tried hard not to cry.”
Girls’ Generation were there three to four hours before the competition started to encourage the boys. Yoon Hyunjoon said, “Girls’ Generation cheered the boys on even before the competition started and did so till the end. They also attended the after-party.”

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will make a surprise appearance on SBS sitcom, “Salamander Guru and the Gang”.
On February 10th, there will be a scene where genius hacker Minhyuk (played by SHINee’s Minho), who is searching for his father, almost kisses the daughter of a wealthy family, played by Taeyeon.
In order to avoid discussing her arranged marriage, Taeyeon escapes her home by going out a window and climbing down a pole. Taeyeon falls from the window and lands on top of Minhyuk, who is busy investigating below. Soon after, Taeyeon falls in love with Minhyuk and tries her best to captivate the cold Minhyuk by talking with a lisp (Editors note: It’s implying that Taeyeon is trying to talk with aegyo), using eye smiles and showing other types of aegyo.
Minho stated, “Taeyeon’s appearance was greatly supportive to me. Despite her tight schedule appearing on the US CBS talk show and performing in Paris, she did not refuse the overnight filming. I am deeply thankful for her supporting me throughout the numerous shoots.” The staff also stated, “Taeyeon’s first acting attempt was good. Her lines and expressions were all perfect. With Taeyeon’s appearance, other male staff members, along with Minho, were able to work more energetically than ever.”
Meanwhile, in this episode, BEAST’s Yong Junhyung and INFINITE’s L will also be making cameo appearances along with Taeyeon.
The special edition of KBS “Music Bank” has not been broadcast yet, so there are no official performance videos at this time.

Finally, SONEs in the audience showed their love and support for Sooyoung by singing “Happy Birthday” to her. With all of Girls’ Generation’s recent success promoting “The Boys” all around the world, the birthday fan event that SONEs put together for Sooyoung was the proverbial icing on the cake.

Girls’ Generation’s fanclub CISTUS decided to perform volunteer service to commemorate Sooyoung’s 23rd birthday on February 10th. (Sooyoung is 22 according to her Western age and is 23 according to her Korean age) Every year, this fanclub has held donation and volunteer service events to celebrate the birthdays of every member of Girls’ Generation.
On February 4th, members of the fanclub visited the “One Love Facility for Young Disabled Kids” in Gwangju, where they volunteered in Sooyoung’s name to clean and look after the kids. They also donated Naver Happy Beans to a children’s organization. (Happy Beans are a charity item within Naver. People who make lots of blog/cafe posts, comments, and email replies are given Happy Beans. They are worth a few hundred won, and can be donated to various charities and foundations.)
In addition, CISTUS congratulated Sooyoung on her birthday by posting an advertisement in Sports Chosun. The advertisement made use of Sooyoung’s comment in a show, where she said, “I’m very envious of Yuri, who is really good at swimming”, and grabbed the readers’ attention by writing, “Until Sooyoung wins a gold medal in swimming, we love you”.
Earlier today, we reported that Girls' Generation's Seohyun and singer-songwriter Yoon Gun will be releasing a newduet track "Don't Say No", to be released on February 13th.
Just moments ago, Seohyun gave a short preview to the song through Kakao Talk. On the 45-second message, Seohyun talked about her new collaboration and gave a little bit audio preview of the track in the end.
Earlier in the week we reported that Girls’ Generation would appear on top French talk show, ‘Le Grand Journal‘ on February 9th.
Well, the show just aired in France and the girls put on an amazing performance of “The Boys“. The panel of hosts and guests were pleasantly surprised with their performance.
Girls’ Generation member Jessica, who is currently gaining much interest through her appearance onKBS2TV‘s ‘Wild Romance‘, transformed into an elegant goddess for J.ESTINA‘s 2012 Spring/Summer collection.
For the photoshoot, Jessica is wearing a simple, white dress, which is the 2012 Spring/Summer trend color. Some ruffles were added to accent her feminine beauty. Her outfit perfectly complimented the soft, blue ‘SPLASH‘ bag that sat in front of her. In addition, Jessica channeled her inner ‘Grace Kelly’ to express the rich, classic concept of this line.
The head of J.ESTINA’s strategy department, Song Ji Won, stated, “Many people have shown much curiosity after the photoshoot collaboration between Girls’ Generation, who have shown their skills through singing and acting, and J.ESTINA. In particular, the ‘SPLASH’ line that Jessica is advertising has been very successful, rising to the top-selling item as soon as it was released.”
Meanwhile, fans and fashionistas will be able to purchase the 2012 Spring/Summer collection that Girls’ Generation is advertising nationwide in late February.

On February 9th (Paris local time), Girls’ Generation made an appearance on Canal+’s popular talk show ‘Le Grand Journal’ and M6′s main news ‘Le 7H45′. On February 10th, the girls are expected to make another appearance on the ‘Question Box’ corner of ‘Le Grand Journal’.
After the broadcast recording session, Sports Donga met up with Girls’ Generation at the Korean Culture Center around 7pm in the evening.
Sooyoung said, “It feels great to go on French TV programs right after our appearances on American talk shows. We are happy for the opportunity to spread Girls’ Generation’s music and on the other hand, it has also become our responsibility.”
Seohyun stated, “It was amazing to see how the local fans here cheered for us and sang along in Korean”, and went on to describe the atmosphere of the recording sets. Tiffany added, “When the fans saw us, they shouted our motto ‘Jigeumeun So Nyeo Shi Dae, Apeurodo So Nyeo Shi Dae, Youngwonhi So Nyeo Shi Dae’. It was electrifying to hear that.”
Yuri said, “I think the European fans are not only interested in our music but also the Korean culture. It is really great to know that.”
During the recording of ‘Le Grand Journal’ earlier, Girls’ Generation performed ‘The Boys’ and also talked about their future plans of releasing albums, as well as having promotional activities in Europe.
When asked about the kind of questions being raised during the broadcast, Sooyoung replied, “They were amazed at how all 9 girls carry out activities together as a team and thus, they wanted to know the story behind the birth of Girls’ Generation.”
Taeyeon then said, “We are always prepared to go to places where our fans want us to be. Thus, we need a chartered private jet.”
Girls’ Generation who are spreading their wings worldwide feels that the hardest obstacle they are facing while going places to perform is none other than jet lags. Yuri commented, “Physically, performing in different places is a challenge to us physically but there is nothing harder than experiencing the jet lags. However, it is a fun experience to be able to try out traditional delicacies in different countries.”
Besides that, the girls also talked about the special characteristic of French fans which is different from the Korean fans. On this Sunny said, “French fans dance along during our performances with their extraordinary sense of rhythm.”
Girls’ Generation, who is in France for the 2nd time after ‘SM Town Live World Tour’ in June last year, picked Palace of Versailles as the most beautiful place of attraction and macaroons as the most delicious food.
Jessica revealed, “While we are in Paris, we are happy to be able to taste macaroons, which is the most delicious. Before we head back to Korea, I want to buy and bring it home.”
After performing at KBS’s ‘Kpop Festival Music Bank in Paris’ on February 8th, Girls’ Generation will be flying to Thailand for their ’2012 Girls’ Generation Tour in Bangkok’ concert.
Sunny of Girls’ Generation, one of the most influential groups, has gained attention for her love of alcohol that she displayed on “Invincible Youth 2″.
With G8 officially starting farm work, Sunny went to a winery to learn the process of manufacturing “G8 brand grapes” for the grapes they will be cultivating this fall. As soon as they arrived at the winery, Sunny could not hide her excitement by commenting, “I can smell the grapes already,” and they headed towards the [wine] sampling site.
While sampling the different types of wine, Lee Soogeun asked G8, “Do you guys usually drink this stuff?” Jewelry’s Yewon commented, “Sunny usually drinks somaek (soju+beer),” exposing Sunny as a person who likes drinking. To Yewon’s joking manner, Sunny replied, “The end of alcohol is somaek.” She then said, “Hello, I’m ‘Soolkyu’”, making everyone laugh by making a nickname out of her real name “Soonkyu”. Also, Sunny followed the traditional method of stepping on grapes to create the one and only “Sunny brand domestic wine”. She also showed a lot of knowledge about wine, proving that Sunny likes and enjoys wine.
Supearls once again gathers attention as they reunite and also meet up with Girls’ Generation.
On the February 12th episode of SBS’s ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star’, the group that received praises for their outstanding harmonies and fresh new interpretation of the song ‘The Boys’, Supearls, was given a surprise as they met with the original singers of the song, Girls’ Generation.
In last week’s final audition casting, Supearls members Lee Michelle, Park Ji Min, Lee Seung Joo and Lee Jeong Mi were casted by BoA to receive special training from SM. As they were receiving their training, they were greeted by a surprise visit from the members of Girls’ Generation, who also showed a special interest in the young group of girls.
Having met Girls’ Generation, the participants came together and performed once again their rendition of ‘The Boys’, showing their amazing talents. After listening to the young girls perform, it was said that the Girls’ Generation members did not hold back their admiration and praise towards the girls; they even confessed, “I think you’re better than us.”
In addition, as strong supporters of the young group of girls, the members spoke to the participants giving them sincere advice and words of encouragement.
In regards to the surprise meeting of the two groups, the production staff revealed that, “After meeting and talking to the members of the top group in K-Pop, Girls Generation, and the way the participants think have improved, also their sense of purpose and reason have gotten stronger.”
Earlier we reported about the hint left by singer-songwriter Yoon Gun suggesting a possible collaboration with Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, garnering a lot of attention.
On February 10th, SM Entertainment confirmed the news and announced that Seohyun and Yoon Gun will be presenting a new duet song ‘Don’t Say No’.
‘Don’t Say No’ will be released through various music websites including Melon, Olleh Music, Soribada, Naver Music, Bugs, etc. on February 13th. The song, which was written by Yoon Gun, was supported by the sounds of the guitar along with a stringed quartet, as well as the lovely melodies of the piano, going for an unplugged pop genre.
‘Don’t Say No’ is a song about two people confessing their love for one another and with the romantic vocal harmonies of Seohyun and Yoon Gun, the song created an emotional atmosphere. Also, this duet song was projected to give fans a music gift for the approaching spring season.

SNSD's Yuri was thoroughly fooled by a hidden camera on "Running Man".
On October 31st, SBS's "Good Sunday Running Man" featured Yoo Jaesuk, Ji Sukjin, Song Joongki, Song Jihyo, Kim Jong kook, and Haha, with SNSD's Yuri as a guest. They took on various games in a shopping mall in Yongsan.
The first challenge of the night was "1vs8, Fool Yuri". During this game where 10 quiz questions must be solved in 100 seconds,the cast deliberately did not guess guest star Yuri's questions. The cast of Running Man were only able to earn running balls if they were able to fool Yuri and fail the quiz all 3 rounds.
In order to trick Yuri, the members memorized the answers to the question before hand, and correctly answered answers to hard questions. Some of the answers to these questions were "Coiled far-infrared radiating heater", "LED-functioning pest control lamp", "Ocho Atras", and "Kamarinskaya". However, they pretended like they couldn't guess the answers to Yuri's questions, like "a set of ceramic pots", "Rumba",making Yuri so frustrated and worried.
Whenever it was Yuri's turn, the time would run out for all 3 rounds.Yuri was so frustrated that she screamed "WAA" and even cried a little bit. The members of Running Man didn't know what to do when she cried so they yelled, "it's okay!", but they couldn't help laughing when they received their running balls.When Yuri finally found out that it was all a hidden camera, she made everybody laugh by saying, "It was so weird because you were guessing things I've never even heard of in my life. And I was so surprised because Haha and Gary were so smart."
The lovely ladies of SNSD / Girls’ Generation were seen endorsing computer monitors, TV’s, and laptops this past summer for Samsung in China. Now, as the Holiday season approaches the girls are back once again dressed up in the Christmas spirit endorsing various netbooks for Samsung.
