Girls’ Generation’s fourth mini album, “Mr.Mr.“, placed first on Gaon’s March album chart. The Gaon album chart keeps track of domestic and international physical album sales. “Mr.Mr.” sold 70,295 copies last month, even holding the top spot for two consecutive weeks on Gaon’s weekly album chart.
“Mr.Mr.” also did well in February. The “Mr.Mr.” mini album was digitally released three days prior to the physical mini album, on February 24th. It achieved an all-kill on Korean music sites, in addition to topping iTunes in multiple countries. It also ranked third on Gaon’s digital chart for the month of March. The girls’ previous Korean comeback, “I Got A Boy”, also managed to place first on the Gaon monthly album chart for the month of January 2013.
