Song Yun Ah performs ‘Genie’ with SNSD

Actress Song Yun Ah impressed everyone with her impressive dance skills at the ‘8th Korean Film Awards‘ held in Seoul on November 18th.

After giving birth to her first baby this past August, the ‘8th Korean Film Awards’ marked her first public appearance as a mother, and quite the busy one too since she participated as an MC and performed for the opening stages.

Song Yun Ah performed SNSD’s ‘Genie‘ alongside the girls, and even dressed up in their exact outfit. Although she messed up the choreography at first, she quickly caught on and became a good replacement for the missing Tiffany (who is currently recovering from an injury).

Other actresses sent their support by reacting warmly to their performance.

After the opening stages, Song Yun Ah commented,

“I was glad when I first heard that the ‘Korean Film Awards’ would be coming back this year. It’s an honor to be able to MC for this event and I’m extremely thankful. I did wonder what they would do to make me suffer, and as if reacting to my anticipation, they put me up on stage with SNSD.’ I’m so extremely sorry to SNSD, the stars of Asia, but also thankful. I’d also like to thank my choreographer for teaching me the dance despite the condition my body is in!“

Go behind-the-scenes of SNSD’s "W” shoot!

Earlier this week, we reported about how the ladies of SNSD transformed into muses of high fashion for “W Korea” magazine.

For the phootshoot, the magazine employed the best hair/makeup stylists, photographers, wardrobe coordinators, and editors to ensure that they delivered premium shots for the pictorial.

A video was taken during the shoot process, and it’s just made its way onto the net. Check out the behind-the-scenes clip below!

SNSD hoots get triple crown on Music Bank + other performances

Music Bank is back again with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances!

Besides the usual fare, there were comeback performances from B2ST, Kim Yeo Hee, Hwang Bo, Orange Caramel, and F.Cuz, while girl group Bebe Mignon made their debut.

After seeing off the challenge of 2AM last week, SNSD were up against Huh Gak for #1 on the K-Chart this week. In the end, it was SNSD who “hooted” their K-Chart triple crown for “Hoot”.

“Volcanic eruption” scene on WGM?

On MBC “We Got Married (WGM) Season 2″ which will be aired on November 20th, Seohyun tried to have skinship with her “hubby”, Jung Yonghwa.

The Yongseo couple who went on a backpacking trip to Kawagoe City in Japan for their reunion had a great time together and they looked like a student couple going on a date.

In the evening, the couple went to the traditional Japanese style inn, Ryokan. After having a meal, they decided to go for a bit of walk. While they were enjoying the evening together, Seohyun tried to have skinship with Yonghwa, but
Yonghwa who did not see it coming, gave a rather unusual response.

The ‘casters’ in the studio who saw the scene commented, “This scene gives me a ‘volcanic eruption’ kind of feeling”.

All-kill for Taeyeon and The One’s “Like A Star”

Taeyeon and The One’s duet “Like A Star” recorded an all-kill on various online chart, just one day after the release on
November 17th.

On November 18th, “Like A Star” took the no.1 spot on various online real time charts such as MelOn, Soribada, Bugs!, Dosirak, Cyworld Music, Monkey3, Naver Music, Daum Music and other domestic music charts.

The “all-kill” phenomenon was expected due to the overwhelming response even before the song was officially released. On the same day as the Korean SAT exam,”Like A Star”‘s domination on various charts started as early as 9.00am in the morning. At 12am midnight, “Like A Star” achieved an “all-kill”.

Which careermen would be most suitable as husbands for SNSD?

A recent poll held by wedding information company, Docs Club, revealed some interesting results for the SNSD members.

They asked 71 “couple managers” from various wedding planning companies about which careers would best fit the future husbands of the SNSD ladies. The top four results were: legal professional, financial specialist, politician, and someone working in the management field.

74% picked member Seohyun as someone would be most compatible with a busy legal professional, because she portrays an image of the ‘classic dutiful wife’.

Because Sunny is known for her cute image, she was chosen to fit best with a financial professional, locking down 39% of the votes. With 41% of the votes, Yoona was selected to be most compatible with a politician husband because of her spotless reputation.

Finally, with 51%, Leader Taeyeon is said to match with a CEO because of her strong image.

SNSD Tiffany Injured her Knee..Will be Temporarily Promoting Only with 8members

Girl idol group SNSD will be promoting only with 8 members due to Tiffany's knee injury.

Their company, SM Entertainment has stated on morning of 17th, that "Tiffany has received an injury on her knee by falling down while performing on stage that was held on the 14th of this month. When we took her to the hospital next morning for a checkup, the results came out as posterior cruciate ligament injury so she will be in a cast for the next four weeks."

Continuing on, they stated "Because of her injury, Tiffany will not be participating on the album promotion until she fully recovers from it, but SNSD will be keep on promoting as 8 members since the song 'Hoot' is receiving a lot of love from the music fans."

Meanwhile, SNSD has won 1st place on various music charts and receieved 1st place on Japan's Oricon Daily Single Chart with their second single 'Gee'.

9 Members, 9 Colors : SNSD Shows Their Mature Charm

Girl group SNSD has turned into fashion goddesses.

So far, their fashion photos have shown all of the 9 members together. However, this time they were photographed individually.

In order to show each girls’ personality and charm, the top editors, stylists, hair/make-up artists and photographers were brought together to create 9 different concepts. When the members saw their concepts at a meeting, it seems they too were very pleased.

SNSD’s photographs will be in the December issue of “W KOREA”.

Hoot 9 Members Fansigning Event AT GOYANG CULTURAL CENTER

I am someone that kind of makes bread. I said it on my other fan sign..

Last time, the bread that Jessica wanted last time was chestnut bread..
Unfortunately, we don't make that bread at the place where I work... but I found a place where they make good chestnut bread on the internet and went there..
I also brought macaroons that I made myself~~

The red bean bread Yuri wanted is sold at my store kekeke
So I baked the red bean bread, *something* red bean bread and sausage bread all night and got it ready..

For Taeyeon I got different kinds of jelly!!

For Sooyoung I wrote a letter (because I couldn't at the last fan sign)

I packed lots of things here and there so it was very heavy..

Around 4:50, I arrived at the fan sign location~ while I was getting my ticket they told us to come up~!!

As soon as we got in, they asked us to turn off our phones..
There was still 40 minutes left...
After I ended work in the morning after making bread all night.. I went home and wrote letter..
After writing I came straight to the fan sign.. so I only slept an hour..
I was so tired.....

Around 55, the girls came out!!!!!
All of them shined brightly

I wrote post its on the album like last time, but some members didn't read it

Before I got my signature, there was something I concluded!! I was not going to get pulled away by the manager!!!
There was some fans who were talking to some members too long so those people ended up getting pushed along to the next member by the manager.. by grabbing their clothes... I hate it when people do that so I'd rather just talk less and walk on my own!!
So this was my plan... I'm going to walk on my own feet.. my own feet.. my own feet.. after thinking this it became my turn!!!!

I put the post it note on the back thinking she was gonna sign it there but she signed in the front instead.. so I told her there was a post it in the back kekekeke she looked at it after she signed kekeke so caring so caring
On post it- Just like the last fan sign, I was only able to sleep one hour. I have to go back to make bread again later

Fant: Really?
Me: Yeah... I have to go make bread.....

They told us not to shake their hands but she was the one that offered first
When I shook her hand last time it was a bit cold but today was very warm

Fany: But is it fun making bread??
Me: ........ (without words I just nodded)

Me: They don't sell chestnut bread at the place I work so I bought it from somewhere else.

Jessica: Oh?!?! I know that place. I like it there. You really work there??
Me: Yes

I didn't even imagine talking to Sica for this long
In my mind I kept thinking that the manager was gonna come and push me...push...
I have to walk on my own so I slowly... very slowly walked over to Seohyun's side.. I wanted to say longer... but because of my pride.....

At that time, Sica kekeke said something in English to Fany but I think she said something about me working at *** kekekeke

After flawlessly getting a signature from Seohyun..

Post it- Red bean bread from last fan sign! I packed it!! I baked it myself!! I wrapped it and made it ^^

Yuri was busy signing kekeke I was waiting for the right timing to give her the bread but I ended up giving it to her at the end

I moved onto Sooyoung and was getting my signature, but there was no one getting signature from Yuri so she said to me

She said that to me!! I didn't know she was going to start a conversation with me..

I gave my letter to Sooyoung... after coming down and looking at my sign, Sooyoung wrote this

Even though I couldn't sleep more than an hour... during that time, I wasn't tired at all
