Photos from Seohyun and Donghae’s ‘UNICEF’ envoy inauguration ceremony

On October 11th, SNSD‘s Seohyun and Super Junior‘s Donghae attended their inauguration ceremony in Changseong-Dong, Seoul, where they were officially appointed the positions of UNICEFenvoys.

The appointment is a great honor, as only those who have a respectable reputation receive the opportunity to become goodwill representatives.

Seohyun has already worked with UNICEF in the past for the “Help Children in Africa” project, and is doing so again through the “2011 Asia Song Festival“. The duet she sang with Donghae was released as a digital single today, and proceeds from its sales will go towards helping children in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti.

'2011 Girls' Generation Tour' hits Singapore on Dec 9th!

Following the successful concerts in Seoul and Taipei, SNSD will head to Singapore for the third stop of their ’2011 Girls’ Generation Tour’ in December!

According to announcements made by organizer Running Into The Sun (RITS) on October 11th, the ’2011 Girls’ Generation Tour’ will take place this coming December 9th at 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Initially scheduled for February 2012, the concert have been brought forward to December this year due to a change in the girls’ schedules.

This will be SNSD’s first solo concert in Singapore and ticketing details will be released soon. Concert tickets will be available by the end of October.

Earlier this year, the ’2011 Girls’ Generation Tour’ kicked off with two concerts in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th, followed by the Taipei stop with three concerts from September 9th to 11th.

Donghae and Seohyun attend UNICEF Envoy conference

Super Junior Donghae and SNSD's Seohyun were appointed as UNICEF envoys for this year. The two collaborated and released a song for 2011 Asia Song Festival today, titled "Dreams Come True".

The collected funds from the digital single will be donated to UNICEF to support people in east Africa.

Today, they attended the UNICEF Envoy conference as representatives at Changseong-Dong, Seoul.

Meanwhile, both SM artists will attend Asia Song Festival on October 15 and perform at Daegu Stadium for free.

Kim HyunJoong "I didn't talk much to Seohyun!"

Kim HyunJoong, who met with reporters at a hotel in Samsung-dong, Kangnam in Seoul on October 10th, revealed his experience while filming the CF for ‘The Face Shop’ with maknae, Seohyun.

He said, “As I was filled with shyness, I couldn’t get myself to talk much to her and in fact, Seohyun too was very shy. However, it was Seohyun who broke the ice first”. Kim HyunJoong added, “After replying to her question of whether I had my meals, I didn’t manage to say anything to her after that. We didn’t talk until the end of the filming session”.

He further revealed, “When I asked her when is SNSD’s album going to be released, she replied me shyly, saying that it has been postponed. After that, i bid her farewell by saying ‘goodbye’”.

About his promotional activities which will be overlaping with SNSD’s, Kim HyunJoong commented, “Because of SNSD’s comeback, the music industry is becoming more active. Thanks to them, I think this would largely boost the interest towards my album as well”.

Kim HyunJoong will be releasing his 2nd solo mini album ‘Lucky’ on October 11th and he is expected to have his comeback stage on Mnet’s ‘M Coutdown’ on October 20th.

Super Junior Donghae and SNSD Seohyun finally released their collaboration song for 2011 Asia Song Festival. The song has cheerful melody and used as the event's theme song.

The funds collected from the digital sales of this song will be use to support our friends in Africa.

SNSD Seohyun tickles Kim Jong Kook on Running Man + full episode

On the latest episode of Running Man, the SNSD ladies were paired up with different Running Man members than the previous episode. The couples were paired based on each person’s morning wake-up time.

Both Seohyun and MC Yoo Jae Suk woke up the earliest in their groups and were coupled together. The other couples included: Yoona&Gary, Hyoyeon&Ji Suk Jin, Jessica&Haha, and Kim Jong Kook&Taeyeon. Hilariously Yuri and Kwang Soo were coupled again, making everyone wonder if they were fated to be together.

Through a drawing, Seohyun and MC Yoo were chosen to be the predators of the game and their mission was to annihilate the other couples by tearing the paper chain which links the couples together. SNSD Seohyun and MC Yoo did amazingly well as they quickly terminated 4 couples within minutes! With most of the teams gone, only the Korean Spartan and Taeyeon couple remained.

MC Yoo and Seohyun frantically chased after the two, but found it difficult to cut their chains off due to Jong Kook’s super strength. However, Seohyun outsmarted the muscleman when she tickle-tortured him from all sides. Ultimately, Jong Kook lost control and Seohyun claimed victory.

Peek a boo with Soshi and Daum Store View!

On October 10th, Daum Communication announced that a Store View campaign, with SNSD as the advertising model, which be launched where users can participate for various prizes.

This time, the Store View Campaign will be drawing out random lucky users from PC, mobile and digital signage services. Prizes like iPad and movie tickets will be given.

The ‘Finding the hidden Soshi in Store View in 30 days’ event will be held online until November 5th. During this event, hints like “It’s the day to eat brunch, please go to the café at Samcheong Dong and visit Store View” will be given to the users, which allow them to look for one hidden SNSD member each day, through visiting relevant Store View places.

Once users manage to find the SNSD members, they will be eligible automatically to participate in the lucky draw. Every week, one user will be receiving an iPad, while 100 users will win Dunkin Original Coffee coupons.
