Girls’ Generation arrive in New York

After a long flight from Korea, Girls’ Generation finally arrived at New York’s JFK International Airport on January 30th at around 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time.

The group was greeted by a large group of fans that eagerly waited for their arrival.

The girl group will guest on two major American talk shows, CBS‘s ‘The Late Show with David Letterman‘ and ABC‘s ‘Live! With Kelly‘. As allkpop reported earlier, the girls will appear on ‘Letterman’ on the 31st, before moving onto ‘Live! With Kelly’ for February 1st.

Girls’ Generation worries about Yonghyun’s departure from ‘Dangerous Teens'

On the January 29th episode of ’Girls’ Generation & Dangerous Teens‘, Hwang Yonghyun left the dormitory and show, giving up on trying to develop himself and change his life with the television program.

A staff member was forced to share the news with the ladies of Girls’ Generation while they were on a trip to Japan to receive an award at a ceremony.

“Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on such a joyous day,” he said. “I’m even more sorry towardsYoonA and Hyoyeon but… Hwang Yonghyun has left.”

Upon hearing the news, Hyoyeon’s face immediately fell. ”I thought they were joking when they told me,” she said. “I was in such a good mood because we received an award in Japan, but the news was really shocking.”

She continued, “I thought that if YoonA and I tried to convince him to stay, he would…”

The girls were afraid of how this would impact the other boys, but the staff members said they would work harder to fill his shoes as well.

Viewers who watched the episode remarked, “Hope the rest of them stay and continue,” “He isn’t returning?”, “That’s too bad,” “I hope he returns soon,“and more.

Girls’ Generation arrive at Ed Sullivan Theater to film ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’

As many of you know already, Girls’ Generation will guest on two major American talk shows, CBS‘s ‘The Late Show with David Letterman‘ tonight on January 31st and ABC‘s ‘Live! With Kelly‘ on February 1st.

Earlier this afternoon, the ladies arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater to film their segment on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’. Hundreds of fans eagerly awaited their arrival and it was well worth the wait as the girls greeted the fans while exiting the coach bus. The coach bus itself featured advertisements for Girls’ Generation and their latest release, “The Boys“.

Daniel Radcliffe & Kelly Ripa briefly talk about Girls’ Generation

As many of you know already, Girls’ Generation will guest on two major American talk shows, CBS‘s ‘The Late Show with David Letterman‘ tonight on January 31st and ABC‘s ‘Live! With Kelly‘ on February 1st.

Earlier today, Daniel Radcliffe was a special co-host with Kelly Ripa on ‘Live! With Kelly‘ and the two briefly talked about tomorrow’s show.

Kelly: They’re very very big, I get tweets from all over the world about this group, Girls’ Generation.

Of course, it’s clever marketing when you consider the impact these girls have on consumers. Sales have reportedly shot through the roof thanks to this flawless combination of Girls’ Generation’s ‘princess’ look with the brand’s glamorous image.

Girls’ Generation will be releasing a making-of video showing other fashion styles and looks that fans can look forward to.

Jessica models in New York for ‘Dazed & Confused’

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica strutted her stuff on the streets of New York for fashion magazine ‘Dazed & Confused‘!

On January 31st, the official Twitter for ‘Dazed’ posted a picture of Jessica straight from the street. “We’re in New York! Here’s a small preview of the photoshoot we recently finished with Girls’ Generation’s Jessica. Jessica received the attention of New Yorkers with one glance. Her image transformation can be seen through the March edition of ‘Dazed & Confused’.”

Jessica is busy, busy, busy lately, as she’s not only working on her group’s worldwide promotions, but is making her acting debut with ‘Wild Romance‘ and shooting in individual pictorials like these.

Girls’ Generation‘s ‘ice princess’, Jessica, is seen making out with Lee Dong Wook, in the latest released preview of ‘Wild Romance‘!

On February 1st, the release of preview for episode 10, has caused quite a stir amongst Girls’ Generation fans as Jessica and Lee Dong Wook are seen in the midst of a passionate lip-lock.

The KBS drama has been receiving positive reviews with a great story line, and the actors’ excellent performances, and will be sure to see their viewer ratings peak with this preview!

Sunny becomes the MC for ‘Music Island’

Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny has been selected as the MC for SBS MTV‘s ‘Music Island’!

SBS MTV revealed on February 1st through their homepage that Sunny would be the host for its new show.

‘Music Island’ will be the first music program to carry out its broadcast on Jeju Island, and will feature performances from a variety of artists every week.

Sunny will be filming the 1st and 2nd episode at the Jeju Convention Center on February 14th. The first episode will broadcast on February 24th.
