SNSD’s Taeyeon almost canceled her duet with Tiffany after a fight

The members of SNSD recently guested on the pilot episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Big Brothers‘, and brought out some stories that have never been revealed before.

Taeyeon shared a surprising tale about how she got into a big fight with fellow member Tiffany. She revealed, “While on our Japanese tour, there was a time when Tiffany and I fought to the point where we were yelling [at each other].”

She continued, “My feelings were so hurt that I eventually tried to cancel our duet stage that was scheduled for our concert the next day.”

In addition to this story, Seohyun talked about a friend from her trainee days, and teared up while recalling the memories she shared with her.

Plastic surgeons rank the best looking male and female idols

For the first time ever, the number of idol groups promoting in the market will hit 100 by the end of the year. Their popularity is often determined by their fans, but what do the professionals in the industry think of them?

E-Daily recently brought together 30 vocal trainers, 27 choreographers, and 18 plastic surgeons to rank the idols according to vocal talent, dancing, and looks. Check out who they ranked as the top in terms of look below!

In the male group category, 2PM came out on top with six votes, while Super Junior‘s Choi Siwontopped the male idol member category with five votes.

On 2PM, director Kim Jun Sung of ID Cosmetics explained, “They have the most balanced looks. They have very clear and masculine features like sharp nose lines.”

TVXQ and Big Bang each earned two votes, coming in at a tie in third place. Won Jin Sung stated,“TVXQ has small faces with unique features and have looks that are very appealing to the public. As for Big Bang, they have masculine face lines and know where their strengths and weaknesses lie in, which shows through their fashion sense.”

On Choi Siwon topping individual member rankings, Park Sang Hoon revealed, “Super Junior’s average age has now entered their late 20′s, but the more they age, the more masculine they’re becoming.”

2PM’s Nichkhun and Taecyeon each earned three points, Nichkhun for his “youthful face and proportional body” and Taecyeon for his “looks that combine the best of both Western and Eastern features.”

As for the females, SNSD came out on top with a total of nine points in the group category. One director from Won Jin Plastic Surgery stated, “They match a variety of looks from girlish to sexy and even cute.”

T-ara placed second with four points, and f(x) and KARA tied for third with two points each.

“T-ara matches any concept while f(x) has every image needed like sexy, cute, and androgynous,” they continued. Director Seo Young Tae stated, “Overall, the members of KARA have egg-shaped faces with big eyes. Starting with goddess Park Gyuri to Goo Hara, who resembles Amuro Namie, Kang Jiyoung‘s beauty has also been shining lately.”

In the individual member category, SNSD’s YoonA placed first with a total of seven points. “YoonA has a feminine, smooth face, with clear eyes, nose, and lips.”

Yuri and T-ara’s Jiyeon tied in second with three points each, with Yuri having a “friendly image that’s calm and not too extravagant,” while Jiyeon for her “charming and gentle eyes.”

SNSD fought over Sung Shi Kyung?

On September 20th, SBS ‘Strong Heart’ featured singer Sung Shi Kyung who confessed that after discharging from the military, girl idols are like celebrities to him rather than juniors.

The singer shared a funny incident when SNSD members visited his radio show, FM4U. He told, “The girls were guests on my radio show and were arguing intensely with each other … They even played rock-paper-scissors to decide which of my songs should be played.”

He continued, “Their rock-paper-scissor battle didn’t end with one round. I was so thrilled and happy that they were fighting over me!” “I was even at the brink of telling everyone that SNSD was in love with me.”

Sung Shi Kyung cracked everyone up again when he told, “I was even greeted by 2NE1 with a bow, but I merely responded with, ‘Oh… hi,’ because I feared that I would get too excited if I got close.”

SNSD’s Seohyun chosen for ‘The Face Shop’

LG Health Care Cosmetics brand, ‘The Face Shop’, chose SNSD‘s Seohyun as their newly appointed model.

On September 20th, it was revealed that Seohyun will be a representative for one year along side other ‘The Face Shop’ models, which include Kim Hyun Joong, Wonbin, and Park Min Young.

For the upcoming October Fall product ‘Arsainte Eco- Therapy Tonic With Essentials’ TV CF, Seohyun will debut along with Kim Hyun Joong.

‘The Face Shop’ chose Seohyun, who is very popular at home and abroad, to inform a wide range of consumers about the brand.

A representative said,“SNSD’s Seohyun is fresh and has a smart image, so she fit well with our brand and was chosen to be our model. The Face Shop is looking forward to her freshness and feminine charms”.

SNSD to make their comeback on October 4th?

According to an inside music distributor, the girls of SNSD are set to release their new album on October 4th, and they will be making their comeback debut through KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on October 7th.

Other artists planning on releasing new singles around the same time are even expected to postpone their release dates due to this. SNSD is without a doubt one of the toughest Hallyu groups to compete with, as they are well received not only in Korea but in all of Asia and parts of Europe as well. Insiders in the music industry remarked, “This time around, the rival entertainment agencies will have more questions in regards to the girls’ comeback than the fans themselves.”

This album in particular is especially noteworthy; famous producer Teddy Riley responsible for producing tracks such as Michael Jackson‘s “Dangerous” revealed through his Twitter page that he was currently working with SNSD on their new album. Teddy Riley is no stranger to the KPOP scene, as he has worked with Jay Park and RaNia in the past. There is even talk that this SNSD album has enough potential for the girls to make their breakthrough in the States, to follow their success in Asia and in Europe.

However, keep in mind that this is a rumor based on an insider and the date of their comeback has not been officially confirmed. SM Entertainment informed StarToday on the 20th, “We may need to adjust the date, depending on how quickly Soo Young is able to recover.” Soo Young was involved in a severe car accident back on August 29th and fractured a few bones. Because of her current state, she was unable to participate in the SMTOWN LIVE performances in Tokyo or the SNSD concert in Taiwan.
