How do idol superstars TVXQ and SNSD plan to spend their Lunar New Year’s?

SM Entertainment made an announcement on February 1st explaining that, “All the SNSD members will be spending the Lunar New Year holiday with their families. TVXQ will also be spending quality time with their families on the Lunar New Year, and afterwards, they will appear on the weekend music program.”

It’ll be a welcome break for the two groups, as they’ve been running a pretty hectic schedule over the past few days. They both left for Japan to take part in the January 25th and 26th SM TOWN concert in Tokyo, and they also appeared on Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station‘ for the 28th.

We wish them health and rest during their much-deserved break!

SME artists record supportive messages for Luna’s musical debut

SM Entertainment has shown fans once more that the artists aren’t just labelmates, but a bona fidefamily that supports and cares for one another.

Various artists and idol groups got together to record a video message for f(x)’s Luna, encouraging the idol to do her best in her musical debut on February 4th. Luna was chosen to play the leading role of ‘Elle Woods’ in the musical adaptation of “Legally Blonde“.

BoA, KangTa, SNSD, SHINee, TVXQ, and Super Junior all made time out of their busy schedules to congratulate Luna, but it was f(x) who displayed the most joy for their fellow group member.

The f(x) members revealed that they were more nervous for Luna than Luna was herself, and they each made sure to ask viewers to look forward and lend their interest to her debut.

Jessica, who previously played the role of ‘Elle Woods’, showed her support with the other SNSD members by performing a dance from the musical.

Meanwhile, TVXQ complimented Luna’s determination and shouted ‘fighting!’ in encouragement. BoA, KangTa, SHINee, and Super Junior all added, “Luna fighting! ‘Legally Blonde’ fighting!”

SNSD’s Sooyoung makes a cameo in “Paradise Ranch” as Miss Soo?

In episode 3 of fellow label mate TVXQ Changmin’s drama “Paradise Ranch“, SNSD’s Sooyoungmade a brief cameo. She played the role as the secretary to Han Taeman, who plays Changmin’s father in the drama. He stutters quite a bit in the clip, and unless I heard wrong, it seems he referred to Sooyoung as “Miss Soo“?
