[News] SNSD’s website updated with 3 new teasers for 3rd mini album ‘Hoot’

Yesterday, SNSD / Girls’ Generation dropped big news out of the blue by releasing various teasers and photos for their 3rd mini album on their official website. The teaser photos were released forJessica, Tiffany, and Seohyun.

Today, three additional images for Hyoyeon, Sunny, and Taeyeon were revealed!

In addition, a longer audio teaser was revealed.

[News] Girls' Generation is 'a Model for Korean Business'

Now that K-pop group Girls' Generation has almost single-handedly spurred a new round of the Korean Wave in Japan, a number of businesses are trying to benchmark the group for their management practice. It says Korean businesses should learn from the way the manufactured group has been managed -- building capacity through rigorous training over a long period of time and profiting from aggressive and bold global management strategies.

"The fact that many Korean idol groups are enjoying great popularity across the world, especially in Asia, despite a scarcity of resources is very suggestive for Korean companies in fierce global competition", the Samsung Economic Research Institute said in a report Thursday. The think tank urged Korean firms to take a close look at the nurturing process of manufactured bands like Girls' Generation, Super Junior, and Kara.

SERI researcher Jung Tae-soo said, "To accumulate successful experience, companies seeking changes have to take on challenges while managing risks through meticulous preparation and planning".

Japan's Nikkei Business recently drew a comparison between Korea's next-generation companies and Girls' Generation, analyzing the factors behind Korea's rapid economic growth.

Some companies are already using Girls' Generation in their marketing strategies. KTB Securities CEO Joo Won joined the fan club of Girls' Generation on Twitter, sharing his thoughts on various subjects with young members there. "Perhaps it is thanks to the fan club of Girls' Generation on Twitter, but the number of young customers has been increasing", the company said.

Girls' Generation is frequently named in investment reports by securities firms, who are aware that the band's overseas success is above all a source of profit for SM Entertainment, its management agency. The stock value of the company is soaring.

[News] SNSD to Release 3rd Mini-Album on October 27th

A few hours back, we revealed to you SNSD‘s newest concept photos from their upcoming mini-album.

Now news arrives that their latest Korean album is titled 훗 (Hut / Hoot) and will be released on October 27th. Rumor has it too that there will be a Japanese version of the song.

The sudden release, the unique concept, the short song preview which said, “Na neun oryeosseo, na neun syo syo syo,” meaning, “You targeted me, shoot shoot shoot,” recently elicited interest and great anticipation from K-Pop fans. A lot also speculated that this is the mini-album that hitmakerWheesung wrote for SNSD.

Following the Run Devil Run pattern, there will be three photos unveiled each day and the MV teaser and the full MV will be released later this week or after the mini-album is released.

With the upcoming distribution of Gee in Japan and now this new Korean single, guess we will be receiving a lot of news from these new agents this time.

[News] SNSD Yuri ranked 1st on girl group member with the most flawless face

Recently, a survey was conducted from September 27 to October 18. It was conducted by Jinshan Skin Clinic, and the survey was "Which girl group member has the most flawless skin with no spot of acne?" over 748 participated in the survey.

And according to the survey, SNSD member Yuri was ranked first with 48.3% or 362 votes receiving majority of the votes. 2ne1's Sandara Park was ranked 2nd with 27.9% or 209 votes, Brown Eyed Girls Gain was ranked 3rd with 22.3% or 167 votes.

The Dr. from the clinic said, "Yuri from SNSD was voted first because she has a crystal clear tone of skin. Her skin is like a mirror of her health, and since she is perfect in health, it reflects on her clear skin which is why her complexion is very beautiful."

He continued, "Sandara Park also has no acne, pimple,s freckles, etc. Which is natural for her and she has clear skin. The three girls has a clear and soft complexion and it's very impressive to see such on these women." he explained.

[News] SNSD to hit 2 birds with 1 stone and promote simultaneously in Korea and Japan

SNSD will be striking both Korea and Japan at the same time.

SNSD on the 19th around 1am KST revealed teasers on their website (http://girlsgeneration.smtown.com) showing a surprise comeback. Particularly, SNSD are going to release their 2nd Japanese single on the 20th of October. SNSD will be killing 2 birds with 1 stone and will be taking on Japan and Korea at the same time.

They will make a comeback with their third mini album "HOOT" which will be released on the 27th of October. They showed a new image with a more retro feel. Teaser's from Tiffany, Jessica and Seohyun has been reveled.

SNSD Just finished their 1st solo concert in Taiwan last 16th and 17th, they had over 24,000 fans in attendance and they were very well received and named the "Most concert attendance for a female foreign artist" in Taiwan.

Therefore, their new mini album "Hoot" will be released in Korea and their second Japanese single 'Gee" will be released on the 20th of October. SNSD will be dominating all over Asia. More fans from oversea's are excited with the announcement of their new mini album.

[News] Yonghwa gets jealous over Seohyun's wedding dress?

On the recent episode of ‘We Got Married‘, SeoHyun told Yong Hwa that she wore a wedding dress for TRAX’s album photoshoot.

SeoHyun agreed to let Yong Hwa see the photo but she flashed it in front of him, making Yong Hwa even more excited. After looking at the photo in her phone, Yong Hwa asked Seo Hyun, “What is it like to wear the wedding dress?” to which Seo Hyun replied, “Everyone said we (Jung Mo – TRAX vocalist) match.”

Yong Hwa then asked “Did you feel weird (on that day)?” Seo Hyun answered, “Yes, it feels weird“. Yong Hwa expressed his feelings by saying, “So you liked it? But you didn’t tell me about it”. She replied, “I have no chance to tell you, during that time, it was our cut-off period.”

Yong Hwa requested for a cut-off period to not contact each other for a month, so to let Seo Hyun missing him more.

[News] Girls' Generation holds sold-out concerts in Taiwan

Korean pop sensation Girls' Generation held two sold-out concerts in Taiwan over the weekend.

SM Entertainment announced in a press release Monday that the nine-member girl group flew into Taiwan last week for the concert "The 1st ASIA TOUR CONCERT - Into the New World" held at the Taipei Arena on October 16 and 17 which was attended by 24,000 fans.

The female idols also met with 100 local media outlets before their show for interviews and a press conference.

At the concert, the girls took to the stage to sing their hit songs "Gee," "Genie," "Kissing You" and "Oh!" as well as putting on solo performances.

SM labelmates Super Junior members Lee Teuk and Donghae made special appearances for Yoona's rendition of "If You Know a Good Man, Introduce Me" and Jessica's performance of "Barbie Girl," respectively.

Girls' Generation composed of other members Tiffany, Taeyeon, Sunny, Sooyong, Seohyun and Hyoyeon are one of the most popular female idols in Korea since their debut in 2007.

The girl group have visited several other countries in Asia such as China, Shanghai and Thailand for their concert last year as well as having branched out into the Japanese pop market in August.

They will be releasing their second Japanese single "Gee" on October 20.

[News] SNSD’s website updated with teasers for 3rd mini album comeback!

Many of you are eagerly awaiting Shoujo Jidai (SNSD’s) release of their Japanese version of ‘Gee’ on October 20th. However, before that happens SNSD’s official website at SMTown has recently been updated with their Korean comeback with various teasers and photos for their 3rd mini album.

Currently, the only teaser photos are released for Jessica, Tiffany, and Seohyun. It seems like they’re going for a bit of a retro / Charlie’s Angels type theme with guns and weapons.
