Taeyeon and SHINee’s Jonghyun Perform ‘Breath’ on ‘M! Countdown’

Taeyeon and SHINee’s Jonghyun performed their first stage on a weekly music show as part of S.M. the Ballad by singing “Breath” on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on February 13th, which also happened to be a special Valentine’s day episode. S.M. the Ballad held a special “Joint Recital” yesterday in advance of the album release and music show performances. Before the show, SM Entertainmenttweeted a backstage photo of the duo, seen below.

Mnet also revealed plenty of behind-the-scenes footage of the two before “M! Countdown”, first showing a backstage video clip of Taeyeon and Jonghyun together. The pair was able to hold a Google Hangout with a few fans from all around the world over video feed. The two labelmates showed the close relationship they have with one another, while also communicating with fans through whiteboard. They hoped fans would support S.M. the Ballad and “Breath”, while also wishing that they look forward to Girls’ Generation’s upcoming “Mr.Mr.” release and comeback. The Twitter account for the show also revealed two photos of the pair before the broadcast. Check out the video and pictures below.

Before Taeyeon and Jonhgyun performed, Taeyeon posted a photo on her Instagram, specifically screencaps of the earlier Mnet video of their Google Hangout.

Throughout “M! Countdown”, Taeyeon and Jonghyun filmed short clips for the show. “Breath” was the last performance of the night, and the two gave an amazing performance with both of their vocal talents on display. YoonA is ready for spring as the cover girl for 'CeCi'

Girls' Generation's YoonA posed as the cover girl for 'CeCi' March issue not only for the Korean version, but the Chinese and Thai versions as well!

Sooyoung previously shared that SONEs deserve only the best and likewise, there was no break for YoonA who dived into preparations for Girls' Generation's comeback immediately following her drama 'Prime Minister and I' to exceed the expectations of fans. YoonA joined Tiffany in the pink princess line by looking like a chic, confident, and sophisticated lady in a pink trench coat from K-fashion brand O'2nd. She also got ready for spring in a embroidered knit dress.

A rep commented, "Although she has a busy schedule with Girls' Generation's upcoming comeback, YoonA showed her refined poses and manners as the top Hallyu icon that she is."

Get ready for more YoonA as well as the rest of Girls' Generation with their title track dropping on the 19th!

Girls’ Generation Releases Comeback Performance Schedule and New Image Teasers

Girls’ Generation has announced its comeback performance schedule for Korea’s weekly music programs. The group will perform “Mr.Mr.” on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on February 20th, KBS’s “Music Bank” on February 21st, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on February 22nd, and SBS’s “Inkigayo” on February 23rd. Taeyeon is also scheduled to perform on those dates as part of promotions for S.M. the Ballad.

Three new image teasers for the “Mr.Mr.” concept have also been released through Girls’ Generation’s official website, Girls’ Generation’s Facebook, and SMTOWN Now. The teaser photos may be seen below.

The “Mr.Mr.” track will be released on February 19th on online music portals, with the full mini-album to be released on February 24th.

Girls’ Generation Wins Two Awards and Performs ‘I Got A Boy’ at ’3rd Gaon K-Pop Chart Awards’

On February 12th, Girls’ Generation received two awards at the “3rd Gaon K-Pop Chart Awards”, hosted by Yuri and Oh Sangjin. Girls’ Generation won the “Digital Award” for the month of January for “I Got A Boy” and “Album of the Year” for the first quarter of 2013.

The award show began with a red carpet event, which Yuri appeared for in a red dress with her co-host. The eight remaining members of Girls’ Generation also walked the red carpet in their outfits for “I Got A Boy”. Photos of Girls’ Generation members on the red carpet may be seen below. Girls’ Generation received the group’s first award of the night, the “Digital Award” for January, without Yuri, who later joined the other eight members to perform “I Got A Boy”.

Afterwards, Girls’ Generation received the “Album of the Year” award for the first quarter of 2013. Seven of the members were on hand to accept the award and give their thanks to fans, as Taeyeon was forced to leave early to perform at the “S.M. the Ballad Vol. 2 Joint Recital“, and Sooyoung left to host SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment”.

Music Video for Taeyeon and Jonghyun’s ‘Breath’ Released

The music video for “Breath”, Taeyeon’s duet with SHINee’s Jonghyun featured on S.M. the Ballad’s newest album with the same name, was recently revealed. Taeyeon notified SONEs about the release and a few other teasers through her Instagram, posting a picture with the caption, “Today. 12pm. Set me free‼️ Breath M/V‼️19th SNSD comeback‼️ 헐대박사건 (editor’s note: “heol daebak sageun”)“.

The “Breath” duet is available on iTunes and other Korean music sites. “Set Me Free”, Taeyeon’s first non-OST solo also included in the “Breath” album, is currently available for purchase through MelOn, Bugs!, and Mnet. Taeyeon Shares Photos Using New Instagram Account

On March 17th, Taeyeon opened an Instagram account and, to the delight of fans, has begun to share photos with her rapidly growing list of followers. Instagram is a photo-sharing service that allows users to quickly take pictures and share them through the internet.

Taeyeon continues to upload new images to her Instagram, ranging from a snapshot of her shoes to a photo of a road in Japan. Taeyeon also posted a message in an image, in which she explained why she chose to begin using Instagram. Her message reads:

Everyone! This is Taeyeon from Japan~

I am always looking for ways to interact with you all, and I want to share happy news with you all the time!

I’ve always used the official homepage and UFOtown but I felt that was missing… something?

(There are lots of small things that I want to share from time to time)

But it’s not like I can spam the official homepage… that’s just not right ㅜ

and UFOtown is just me receiving questions to answer..

I thought… it would be nice if I could ask you questions as well ^^

I know exactly what everyone is worried about right now.

I also don’t want me or anyone close to me to be hurt..

The reason I started Instagram was to be closer with you all!

The time I spend outside of Korea increases

and because of that, the number of international SONEs increases.

I wanted to… share more simple, interesting, trivial things.

I will uploads pictures like everyone else!

It’s very similar to the official page. The only difference is that the main topic is Taeyeon.

On June 23rd, Jessica surprised fans by opening a Weibo account under the username of Sy__Jessica. She uploaded a cute selca of herself as her display picture and posted a short message: “Hi Weibo friends, it’s nice to finally be here! Let’s have some fun! [可爱]
