An overview of attendees and performers for the ’48th Daejong Film Awards’

On October 17th, the ‘48th Daejong Film Awards‘ ceremony will be held in Jongno, Seoul at theSejong Center for Performing Arts. Fans and spectators will be able to see an array of over 60 famous celebrities, ranging from renowned actor Won Bin to famous girl group SNSD. The hosts of the night will be actor Shin Hyun Joong and actress Jang Seo Hee.

Before the opening ceremony, a line of impressive celebrities will walk the red carpet including: Won Bin, Lee Soon Jae, Park Hae Il, Cha Tae Hyun, Yoon Kye Sang, Kim Yoon Seok, Yoo Hae Jin,Ko Chang Suk, Jo Sung Ha, Lee Jae Hoon and Ryu Seung Bum.

As for the ladies, the following actresses are sure to turn heads with their elegant and graceful garments: Kim Ha Neul, Bae Jong Ok, Shim Eun Kyung, Kim Hye Soo, Choi Kang Hee, Yoon So Jung, Shin Se Kyung, Yoo Da In, Baek Jin Hee, Moon Chae Won, Kang So Ra, Kim Soo Mi, Chun Woo Hee, Jang Young Nam, and Kim Hye Jin.

The ceremony will also be attended by well-known idols and singers as well. SNSD, Park Jung Hyun, and Sung Shi Kyung are slated to rock the stage at one of the most prominent award ceremonies in South Korea.

The search for the source of Yuri's talents!

As SBS E!TV ‘K-STAR news’ channel searched for the source of Yuri’s talents, the results turned out to be ‘her genes’.

Yuri’s main occupation is not only a singer, but also an MC and entertainer in many TV programmes with ‘Kkap Yul’ as her character.

Yuri also has high popularity among the people, regardless of age groups. In August, when a question “Who is the artist with superior genes that has a cute and well-shaped face?” was posted to university students from the Division of Plastic Surgery in a survey, Yuri beat actress Kim Sarang and fellow member Seohyun and was ranked 1st.

Based on the responses from the male university students, Yuri’s cute image and small face won their hearts and left good impressions in them while female students admire Yuri’s distinct features, naming Yuri’s face as their ‘wanna-be face’.

The poll results will be revealed on the October 21st (Friday) on ‘K-STAR news’ at 10pm.

Countdown for Girls' Generation's Comeback!

Girls’ Generation, who will make comeback with the 3rd album, will release the music video of the title song, ‘The Boys’ on the 19th.

The music video of ‘The Boys’ will be released on the 19th through the official websites such as Girls’ Generation Youtube channel and Facebook page as well as music websites such as Melon, Naver Music, DAUM, etc. Girls’ Generation’s various looks in the music video are enough to fascinate global music fans.

The music video, which was directed by Won Ki Hong, was filmed in Namyangju for 6days. Since fans can meet Girls’ Generation presenting fancy performance to intense and powerful pop urban dance music, ‘The Boys,’ with ‘NEO NATURAL’ backgrounds, it is expected to make fans all over the world feel excited.

Also, it put perfection in the music video of ‘The Boys’ by filming with the matrix technique and phantom flex camera.

Moreover, as of October 17th, Girls’ Generation’s ‘The Boys’ music video teaser 1, which was released in two versions (Korean and English) on the 15th at 00:00 a.m., received about 1,500,000 views in three days of its release and also the English version received over 1,100,000 views. Therefore the teaser videos received 2,600,000 views in total.

In addition, the new song, ‘The Boys,’ will be released worldwide and the 3rd album will be released in Korea on the 19th therefore, it will be so-called ‘Girls’ Generation DAY.’

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation will present fancy comeback stage on the 21st through ‘KBS Music Bank.’
