New preview of Jang Geun Suk & YoonA’s drama ‘Love Rain’ revealed

On December 31st, a small preview of the upcoming drama ‘Love Rain‘ starring Jang Geun Suk andGirls’ Generation member YoonA aired during the ’2011 KBS Drama Awards’.
Jang Geun Suk plays the dual role of a handsome ’70s art student named ‘Seo In Ha’, and his son in the year 2012, a free-spirited photographer named ‘Seo Jun’. YoonA, on the other hand, also has a dual role playing the innocent ’70s campus goddess ‘Kim Yoon Hee’, as well as her daughter in 2012, ‘Hana’. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee fall in love in college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Their children, Seo Jun and Hana meet by fate and they also fall in love. Will history repeat itself or will Seo Jun and Hana go down a different path?
The drama was exported for $9 million USD to Japan and is scheduled to air through KBS2 some time in 2012.

Check out Girls’ Generation, KARA, and TVXQ at Japan’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen”


The Kohaku Uta Gassen or the Red and White Song Battle, is the most prestigious music event in Japan. Only the most successful J-POP artists are invited to perform and this year for the 62nd edition of this event, three of the most successful Korean artists in Japan were invited to perform includingGirls’ GenerationKARA, and TVXQ.
KARA was 21st to perform and they performed a special 2011 Medley including ‘Jet Coaster Love‘ and “Mister‘.
Girls’ Generation was 25th to perform and they performed ‘Genie‘.
TVXQ was 30th to perform and they performed ‘Why? (Keep Your Head Down)‘.
Congratulations to these three wonderful groups and hopefully they enjoy an even more fruitful 2012.

2011 MBC Gayo Daejaejun Award goes to ‘Blue Team’ + Performances (Part 4)

It’s New Year’s Eve in Korea, and what better way to send off 2011 than with a livey music show with this year’s top artists!
MBC drew together a formidable list of performers this year, along with a beloved cast of MCs from their popular reality show, ‘We Got Married‘.EunjungLee Jang WooGa-InJo KwonVictoriaNichkhunKang Sora, and Leeteuk all led the ceremonies this year with their respective ‘spouses’.
We’ve divided the performances into four sections, so check out part 3 below! (And click here and here for Part 1 & 2 & 3)
Artists were divided into two teams, Blue & White, and throughout the show, viewers cast their votes through text messages for their favorite team. It was Blue Team who was revealed to be the winner at the end!
