Jessica and Krystal show off their beauty


The Jung sisters Jessica and Krystal have once again showed off their superior genetics.
The photo above of the two sisters flying off to Singapore was uploaded onto SM Towns official Facebook page and has been gaining attention.
The sisters displayed their beauty with a simple V pose and through this picture their stylish sense of fashion can also be seen. Jessica went with a casual yet elegant look by wearing a brown coat, flannel, and jeans while her sister Krystal wore a chic outfit consisting of a black leather jacket that was matched with a leopard print scarf.
Fans commented on their photo saying, “The sisters are even prettier because they are close,” “Jessica’s so cute. I can’t tell who’s older,” and “Truly superior genes.
On another note, the artists of SM Entertainment performed in Singapore for ‘SM Town Live World Tour III‘ on November 23rd.

Girls’ Generation, FT Island & Boyfriend rank in the top 3 of Oricon



Hallyu groups Girls’ Generation, FT Island and Boyfriend all charted in the top three of the Oricon charts.

According to Oricon’s latest ranking released on November 29, Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese album ‘GIRLS’ Generation II Girls&Peace’, which was released on the 28th, ranked #2 on the Oricon’s Daily Albums chart with 46,031 copies sold.

Furthermore, FT Island’s “Polar Star” and Boyfriend’s “Kimito Dance Dance Dance/My Lady-Winter Lovers” came in at #2 and #3 respectively of the Oricon’s Daily Singles chart, evidencing the groups’ popularity in Japan.

Jessica Makes a Successful Return to the Musical ‘Legally Blonde’



On November 28th, Jessica successfully returned to the musical stage in the second run of “Legally Blonde”, which was held at the COEX Atrium Hyundai Art Hall in Samsung-dong. Jessica delivered a solid performance, playing as the lead female character, Elle Woods, in the romantic, comedy-filled musical.


Celebratory wreaths and donations were sent in to support and commemorate Jessica’s performance in “Legally Blonde”. A total of 4,718 kilograms of rice, 100 mango saplings, 135 kilograms of forage, and 280 briquettes in donations were made, capping off a tremendous effort and support shown by fans.


Girls’ Generation also sent in a wreath for Jessica. From left to right, the wreath reads, “Girls who can’t live without you Girls’ Generation. Born to be real Elle Woods ((((Jessica))))”. The message is a play on the lyrics “I can’t live without you my lovely J” from “My J”, a song from “The Boys” album. Tiffany was also able to attend the musical to show her support.

Girls’ Generation Ranks in 2012 Top Searched Terms for Yahoo! Japan




Each year, Yahoo! Japan releases lists of the top searches in various categories. This year, the keyword “Girls’ Generation” placed fifth in the overall celebrity search ranking. The girls came in fourth for the “Females” category and were the top searched term for the “Foreign Asian Artists” list.

Last year, Girls’ Generation placed second and first on the “Females” and “Foreigners” lists, respectively, and also obtained third place on the “Famous People/Groups” top searches list. 

From the frequency of these searches, it is clear that the girls have kept their noticeable influence on the Japanese pop music market. With the release of “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” on November 28th, they will only continue to gain ground in Japan and around the world.
