SNSD receives an offer for a drama featuring all nine as leads

Representatives in the industry have been spotlighting a drama which could feature all nine members ofSNSD!

According to a few representatives, a drama production company is currently planning a live remake of a popular Japanese manga, and are in the casting stages for famous writers and entertainment agencies.

The drama plans to focus on the personal stories and episodes of nine members and will air in Japanfirst, before crossing over to Korea. Discussions for arrangements with one broadcast network are currently underway.

Should they agree to the drama, the series will have to reach completion within the first half of the year due to the girls’ pending music promotions.

Unfortunately, it looks like the girls may not be able to rise to the call, as their schedules are already quite packed.

A representative of SM Entertainment revealed to Sports Donga on February 1st, “We have received a few offers about dramas using the nine girls of SNSD as the leads. We are not against the idea of featuring all of them, but we’re currently not in the position to be working on a drama.”

He continued, “The members don’t have the time to break away from their schedules for such a long period of time. At this moment, we have no thoughts of featuring them in a drama.”

Online German radio station to play K-Pop on air!

Exciting news for German K-pop fans!

Newcomer Radio Deutschland has agreed, after receiving petitions from the German Hallyu Project, to play K-pop on their February 21st broadcast! Newcomer Radio Deutschland is an online radio station dedicated to introducing listeners to up-and-coming bands and music genres.

According to the German Hallyu Project, this is the first time that a radio station in Germany has agreed to play K-pop on air. Newcomer Radio posted a short message on their website announcing the event:

“We ”fight” for music genres that have a difficult time achieving mainstream success in our music business. K-Pop, together with the German Hallyu Project, will be on air soon.“

The last friday night of January SNSD were staying in Japan. The girls went to a long-established ramen shop in the downtown area.
Five of the members went to the ramen shop. Because it was crowded they couldn't sit together so 3 members sat at the counter.
On this day they appeared live on a music program. (MusicStation) During the program one of the members asked to recommend a good ramen shop.
It seems that immediately after the show they went to eat it.
The ramen shop the girls went to specializes in tonkotsu ramen, where the pork fat surfaces.
I think these are considerably high calories for the girls, whose attraction point are their fine and long beautiful legs...

Composer/singer Park Sunzoo recently praised SNSD's Taeyeon's singing.

On the 1st, Park Sunzoo updated her Twitter reading, "Since when did our Taeyeon sing so well? You amazing girl~! You got first place, you got first place~" complimenting Taeyeon's singing.

Following the release of the duet single 'Different' by Taeyeon and Kim Bumsoo on the 31st, it ranked at the top of realtime music charts on the 1st.

Park Sunzoo wrote and composed 'Different', and also took place in the narration at the beginning of the song.
