Girls' Generation's Yoona, who usually makes headlines for her pretty face, is currently drawing attention with her beautiful hands.

On February 29, several screen captures of Yoona's hands have been posted on online community boards with the caption, “Hands that make you want to shake.”

The photos show a compilation of Yoona's porcelain-like hands, which are as beautiful as her appearance. Her thin, long and milky-white fingers make people want to shake her hands.

Netizens commented, "Saying ‘God is fair’ is not true," "She even has beautiful hands," "She's in charge of beauty in SNSD" and "She is a goddess."

Girls group height rankings

Following the popular rankings of girl groups by popularity and talent, the ‘Average Height of Girl Groups’ ranking was released in an online community and has been garnering attention amongst netizens.

A total of 24 groups were listed in the ranking. As expected, having composed of former models, Nine Muses took #1 spot with an average height of 171.9 cm. After School, well-known as 'tall' girl group in the K-Pop industry, came in a surprising fourth with an average height of 168.5 cm.

Girls’ Generation and the Wonder Girls, who are always on top of popularity rankings, were listed down under the short category with 163.5cm and 163.6 respectively. Kara, 2NE1, SECRET and Brown Eyed Girls were all ranked at the bottom of the list.

Snapshots of Yuri of Girls’ Generation on the set of drama ‘Fashion King‘, impressed fans and viewers as they revealed her diligence when it comes to reading the screenplay.

‘Fashion King’ is Yuri’s first entrance into the drama world as a regular character, and it seems the star is taking extra care to memorize her lines. Yuri commented, “While as a singer you have to release all your energy for impact in a short amount of time, I think acting is harder because you have to spread that impact out for the character to live… It’s fun attempting a new challenge.”

The first episode of ‘Fashion King’ will broadcast on March 19th at 9:55PM on SBS.

Yuri speaks on the challenges as an actress!

Photos of Yuri reading the script of ‘Fashion King’ with a look of concentration, as though she has fallen in love with it, were revealed recently.

In the photos taken at the set of the location shooting in New York, Yuri who took up the acting challenge for the first time was seen holding the script with a serious expression on her face. She seemed to be fully immersed in it as she was studying and reading through the script.

Yuri said, “A singer channels all his/her energy to make an impact for a short period of time but for acting, since one has to take a long breath and live as the character being played to produce an impact, I think it’s more difficult.” She added, “I’m having so much fun taking up this new and recent challenge.”

‘Fashion King’ is SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama and it will begin airing on March 19th.

J.Estina to hold Girls' Generation fan sign event on March 11th!

On February 29th, J.Estina has announced that a fan signing event with Girls’ Generation will be held on March 11th at the AK Departmental Store in Suwon.

Customers who have made purchases of more than 100,000 won from February 23rd to March 5th stand a chance to attend the fan signing event. The announcement of the lucky winners will be made online on March 9th.

After appointing Girls’ Generation as their advertisement models, J.Estina had since named its products after the girls – ‘Jessica’s earrings’, ‘YoonA’s Angelica Bag’, ‘Tiffany’s earrings’, etc and the brand enjoyed a consistent upward trend in sales. Seohyun: “At first, we were going to decline performing on the David Letterman Show”

Seohyun shared a never-before revealed story regarding Girls’ Generation‘s performance on theDavid Letterman Show.

On the February 28th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Seohyun remarked, “We were aware of how huge this show was in America, enough for member Tiffany who grew up in the States to cry after we received the invitation to perform. But in the beginning, we had discussions of not going through with it.”

“It’s a tremendous show, but we didn’t think we would be able to put on our best performance, so we were going to decline,” she said. “Because the Letterman Show is a talk show, the stage is extremely small. Not all of us could fit and we didn’t think we could properly perform.”

The second reason Girls’ Generation wanted to decline was because of the music. The version of “The Boys” that Americans are accustomed to is not the original Girls’ Generation version, but the club remix version with a feature by rapper Snoop Dogg.

“After discussions with the staff members, we decided to go through with the show after they enlarged the stage for us a little bit, and we prepared really hard,” Seohyun continued.

‘Strong Heart’ then played the clip of the girls’ performance, and the studio sent a warm round of applause to the Girls’ Generation members.
