On March 3rd, Yoona attended the “49th Taxpayer’s Day” event at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam, Seoul. There, Yoona, as well as actor Song Seungheun, took part in a ceremony in which she received as presidential award as a model taxpayer. Yoona was also appointed as an ambassador for Korea’s national tax service for one year.

Girls’ Generation received two awards at the 29th Japan Gold Disc Awards, marking the fourth straight year Girls’ Generation has been honored by the awards show. Last year, Girls’ Generation’s “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” and “LOVE&PEACE” albums also were chosen for “Best 3 Albums of Asia” at the 28th Japan Gold Disc Awards. In 2012 and 2013, Girls’ Generation’s other releases were honored in various categories as well.
For 2015, Girls’ Generation’s “Indestructible” was chosen for “Song of the Year by Download” along with “Let It Go”, in Japanese and English, from Disney’s “Frozen”. Girls’ Generation’s “The Best” album won the “Best 3 Albums of Asia” award. Fellow S.M. Entertainment labelmate TVXQ! also placed two albums in the category.
Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun Leave Video Message for “Best of Best” in Manila
Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun recently left a video message for the upcoming “Best of Best” concert in Manila, which will take place on April 12th. The girls appear at the 1:03 mark of the video after Donghae and Eunhyuk of Super Junior, who will also be part of the lineup, along with Red Velvet.
Girls’ Generation Wins “Best Girl Group” at the “2014 allkpop awards”
On February 25th, allkpop revealed its winners for the “2014 allkpop awards” in a short video clip. The 6:13 mark of the clip reveals that Girls’ Generation won “Best Girl Group”. Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun accepted the award on behalf of the group, thanking fans for their continuous support.
