SNSD’s Jessica shows her support for f(x)’s Krystal

Last week, SNSD’s Jessica made a surprise visit to the practice set of SBS’s ‘Kiss & Cry‘ to lend her support to younger sister f(x)’s Krystal.

Krystal emphasized expression in her performance and showed off her high level of skill by incorporating lifts. Krystal had always been known for utilizing her long limbs to bring beauty into her performances, but this time around, she went for a stronger style that required more skills.

Jessica said, “This is my first time seeing Krystal skate in person. She’s so good and did so well in expressing everything. I could feel that she was at ease with it. When I saw her before the match, she said that she was even more nervous because I was here to watch. She truly did well, though.”

Tiffany Chosen by French Fans as the Prettiest Member

Tiffany has been chosen by French fans as Girls' Generation's prettiest member.

Recently on Girls' Generation's French fanpage, 18% of the voters chose Tiffany as the prettiest member. Yuri received 15% of the vote, Taeyeon 14%, and Sooyoung 13%. Tiffany was also chosen as the member with the most beautiful eyes.

The girls got to show French fans their charms firsthand at the SMTOWN Live in Paris concert, and they recounted their experiences on the recently aired "Come to Play" special "We Came to Paris".

SM Entertainment opens 1st store outside Korea

SM Entertainment and Avex Taiwan have been working together for half year on the project of opening an SME exclusive store in Taipei, and the day is finally coming as Avex Taiwan announced today that the store will be opened in July.

SME artists including SNSD, Super Junior, DBSK are probably the most popular K-Pop stars in Taiwan at the moment; the explosive popularity is amazing.

As fans are sad about Super Junior’s Siwon and Donghae’s leaving after finishing filming for the Taiwanese drama “Extravagant Challenge,” this great news revealed by SME and Avex Taiwan made fans all light up again. This shop would be the first SME exclusive store outside of Korea; all SME artists’ official products will be available here, and the location is at the heart of Taipei city which would be easy to access. According to the press release, some special events are under preparation for the grand opening as well.

In addition to the opening of the exclusive store, the anticipated “Super Show3 3D” film will hit theaters in Taiwan on August 26th. SME is surely dominating Taiwan, at least this summer!

For Don Spike SNSD Taeyeon is the most desirable idol

Famous Arranger and Composer, Don Spike thinks Taeyeon is the most desirable idol.

Meeting with reporters at CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong on June 29th, Don Spike said, “Taeyeon can really sing well. Although I’ve never seen her singing live before, I thought she has an outstanding vocal after listening to her recorded song”. Don Spike was the arranger for Kim BumSoo-Taeyeon’s duet ‘Different’.

Don Spike revealed, “During recording, you can hear a singer’s actual voice clearly. Without other effects or mixing works done, I was hugely impressed by Taeyeon’s singing. Her techniques, feel of the song and everything are excellent”.

He added, “As an arranger, if you listen to the vocals, i get my own feelings about them. Listening to singers’ vocals everyday, there are always concerns on how to ‘dress them up’.However, Taeyeon’s voice seems to ‘fit any clothes’”.

Possibility of SNSD's participation on Immortal Song 2

Just as SM entertainment artistes Super junior’s KyuHyun and F(x)’s Luna confirmed their appearances on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song 2’, the question that becomes the center of attention now is whether SNSD will be participating in the filming of the show too.

In the variety show ‘Immortal Song 2’, active idol groups like Super Junior, 2PM, 2AM, Beast, Sistar, Secret, SHINee, MBlaq, F.T Island and IU had all appeared previously. Moreover, SM Entertainment has been continuously sending its artistes to the show, except for the week when the SM Town Live in Paris concert took place. As a result, the possible participation of SNSD, who has yet to appear in the show, attracted even more attentions.

In response to this, a producer from ‘Immortal Song 2’ said, “As SNSD make their proper come back in Korea this September, we are looking forward to whether members with good singing skills can participate in a corner of the show”, revealing the possibility of SNSD appearing on the show. SNSD who are spearheading the Kpop fever, consist of members with good singing skills as well. In view of this, if SNSD were to participate in the the show, it will definitely garners a lot of attention from viewers and fans within and outside Korea.

Jessica Supports Sister Krystal for SBS's 'Kiss and Cry'

On the 21st of June, Jessica showed strong support for her sister Krystal by personally attending her practice session at the SBS Ilsan Production Center for SBS's figure skating competition ''Kiss and Cry''.

Jessica provided a very heartwarming scene through her on-set encouragement. She mentioned it was her first time watching Krystal skate and then added, "She's really good and expressed [her acting] beautifully. It's to the point where you can feel how relaxed she is." She continued her admiration by remarking: "When I saw Krystal before the competition, she said she was even more nervous because I was here to watch, but she did really well."

The episode will air this coming Sunday, July 3rd on SBS.
