SNSD lands on # 1 on Oricon Weekly Album Chart with 'The Best'



SNSD ranked number one on Oricon Weekly Album chart for their latest Japanese compilation 'The Best.'

According to Oricon, 'The Best' has sold 31,477 copies in the two weeks that it has been released.

Girls Generation released its first ever compilation album 'The Best' that will feature all their greatest hits from 2010-2014 albums. 'The Best' includes their hit songs 'Gee,' 'Run Devil Run,' 'Mister Taxi,' 'Hoot,' 'Mr.Mr.,' 'Oh!,' 'The Boys,' 'Time Machine,' 'Bad Girl' and others.

Girls’ Generation Performs at ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV’ in Seoul

On August 15th, Girls’ Generation performed at “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV” in Seoul. Members of the group performed in several collaborations with other SM Entertainment artists and also performed their own hit songs, including “Into the New World”, “Hoot”, “Kissing You”, “Gee”, “I Got A Boy”, and “Mr.Mr.”. Girls’ Generation also covered “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”.

For their individual performances, Sunny sang “Fly Me To The Moon” with Lee Dongwoo, Tiffany sang “Bang Bang” with SHINee’s Key and “Say Something” with Kangta, Seohyun sang “Problem” with f(x)’s Amber, and Hyoyeon had a dance performance with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, f(x)’s Luna, and EXO’s Kai, Sehun, and Lay.
