Girls' Generation and SHINHWA performed at the Music Bank 700th episode special aired earlier today.
The members of Girls' Generation and SHINHWA met at the backstage and they posed together for a group photo.
Girls' Generation's members are seen holding SHINHWA's latest albums as shown in the photo, meanwhile, SHINHWA made their comeback with "This Love" on various music shows this week.
Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yuri snapped a series of lovely photos with her trophy from the recent ‘49th Baeksang Arts Awards’.
On May 17th, Yuri posted on Girls’ Generation’s official website, “It’s an emotional moment that our fans have created for us♥ Although we’re thankful everyday and happy everyday, For giving me the chance to feel the honour of holding one of the trophies of the Baeksang Arts Awards! I’m feeling unbelievably thankful and happy kya-ang~ I will definitely reciprocate by showing better sides of myself, step by step. Next time, the appearance of me in a pretty dress.. do look forward to it too ^^ Thank you and I love you kya~”
Yuri won the ‘Popularity Award’ for her role on the drama ‘Fashion King’ at the ‘49th Baeksang Arts Awards’ which was held at Kyunghee University on May 9th.
On May 17th, Girls’ Generation performed on KBS “Music Bank”‘s special 700th episode, singing “Gee” and “I Got A Boy”. Viewers were first taken to 2009 when Girls’ Generation performed “Gee” while dressed in white tops and blue jeans. The group then brought it back to 2013 and changed into yellow and black outfits for “I Got A Boy”.

Girls’ Generation will be performing on KBS’s “Music Bank” for their special 700th episode on May 17 at Shingwan Public Hall. The girls will be performing “I Got A Boy” and “Gee” for this special episode.
This will be their first time appearing on KBS’s “Music Bank” again after finishing up their successful promotions for “I Got A Boy” in February.
Other performers include Shinhwa, 2PM, SHINee, K.Will, SECRET, 4minute, B1A4, Nine Muses, Seo Inyoung, Ailee, Dynamic Duo, Simon D., and Rhythm Power.
On May 16th, Girls’ Generation gave a surprise performance at Yonsei University’s “Akaraka Festival”, an annual event held at Yonsei University. Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun performed at last year’s “Akaraka Festival” as Girls’ Generation – TTS during their promotions for “Twinkle”.
This year, Girls’ Generation returned with “Gee”, “Oh!”, “The Boys”, and “I Got A Boy” for the huge crowd, which responded with fanchants and by singing along. Unfortunately, Sooyoung was unable to attend the performance.
SSTV, a Japanese television channel, has aired the full music video for “LOVE&GIRLS”. Accompanied with funky outfits, the fun choreography in the music video is highlighted with the “shampoo dance”, rounding out the cute and colorful song. The 1000 extras in the music video are actually SONEs dancing and cheering in the background.
“LOVE&GIRLS”, Girls’ Generation’s seventh Japanese single, is set to be released on June 19th. The limited edition of the single will include the “LOVE&GIRLS” music video. The single is currently available for pre-order, and purchase links can be found here.
Universal Music Japan has also uploaded an official preview for “LOVE&GIRLS” music video.
Taeyeon shared on her Instagram, “Happy! #Love&Girls,” with a snapshot of Tiffany, YoonA, andJessica smiling at the camera, while Sunny and Taeyeon act silly.
She also treated fans to another adorable selca set with the caption, “Soshi pranksters;) Nanananana~,” letting fans witness Taeyeon’s hilarious transformation from a good girl into a bad one, while YoonA, Sunny, and Hyoyeon also bring smiles with their cute charms.
SONEs commented, “What are you doing Taeyeon, you wanna kill YoonA?”, “So cute”, and“Love&Girls”.
Sadly, the release date was pushed back to June 19, but the girls have brought us a present anyway with a preview which aired earlier today on Fuji TV‘s “Mezamashi TV“! The girls filmed the MV with a crowd in a carnival like atmosphere and dance along with bright smiles. The song is happy and fun with a cute and bright choreography to match.
“LOVE&GIRLS” will come in two editions, Limited and Regular with the Limited edition including a DVD containing the music video for “LOVE&GIRLS“. The coupling track for both editions will also be a brand new track titled, “Lingua Franca“.
