Jessica to Appear in @ Star1 Magazine!

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica will once again show off her cute yet elegant looks and charms in another magazine photoshoot.

Jessica transformed into a “spring queen” for an upcoming issue of a celebrity lifestyle magazine, @star1, which will be published on April 21st.

During the photoshoot, which took place on a tree-lined street that gave off the feeling of spring, Jessica looked at the falling spring rain and said, “I’m happy it’s raining. I like the rain. It’s a bit boring having to shoot by myself without my members, but it’s fun.”

Through the @star1 photoshoot, Jessica showed the both beautiful charm of a girl and the beautiful charm of a woman by wearing sensible clothes from the “COMING STEP” fashion brand. She showed a polished look by wearing an animal-print jumpsuit with a clean white jacket, and completed her lovely look by having her wavy hair falling naturally to one side and wearing pink blush.

Jessica’s photoshoot and honest interview will be released on April 21st in @star1′s May issue.

Jessica Jung the femme fatale?

Girls' Generation member Jessica was selected as the idol who would fit the mysterious femme fatale image best.

In conjunction with the opening event of the movie ‘The Scent’ from April 9th to April 16th, movie preorder site ‘Yes24′ conducted a survey entitled, ‘Who is the idol with the mysterious femme fatale image similar to Park SiYeon, the sole witness to a murder case in ‘The Scent’?’.

Garnering 36%, Jessica took the top spot, beating fellow Girls’ Generation member, YoonA (ranked 4th) and her younger sister, f(x)’s Krystal (ranked 2nd). As her nickname ‘Ice Princess’ suggests, Jessica could give an arrogant-looking glance with a facial expression that leaves one stunned, which is similar to Park SiYeon’s character in the movie.

Through ‘The Scent’, Park SiYeon, dubbed as ‘Korea’s Femme Fatale’ will be making her comeback to the big screen, ending her 2-year hiatus.

Jessica becomes a spring goddess for ‘At Style’

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica has transformed into a beautiful goddess of the spring for style magazine, ‘At Style‘.

The photoshoot was held in the middle of a street on a bright, spring day with a bit of rain shower, lending a dewy look to the overall pictorial. Jessica was reported to have been overjoyed at being out in the nature, expressing, “I feel great because it’s raining. I love the rain.. It’s a bit boring having to film by myself without the members, but it’s still fun.”

Dressed in ‘Coming Step‘ clothing, her style mixes loud prints with simple, white pieces to create a fashionable and colorful look perfect for standing out against the gray rain showers.

‘K-Pop Star’s top 3′s idol star collaboration partners confirmed

Earlier, we reported that the Top 3 finalists of ‘K-Pop Star‘ would be holding special collaboration stage performances with GD&TOP, Girls’ Generation, and miss A.

The partnering for the collaboration stages has now been confirmed, and has fans anticipating the artists’ interaction with the finalists . Lee Ha Yi will be performing with miss A, Park Ji Min will be joined by Big Bang‘s G-Dragon and T.O.P, and Baek Ah Yeon will be performing with Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Tiffany.

A representative of SBS‘s variety program stated, “miss A, GD&TOP, and Girls’ Generation will be holding collaboration stages with the top 3 finalists. miss A will be with Lee Ha Yi, G-Dragon and T.O.P with Park Ji Min, and Taeyeon and Tiffany will be performing with Baek Ah Yeon.”

A production staff member of ‘K-Pop Star’ stated, “Although nothing has been completely finalized yet, it is true that this may be the direction we are going.”

Girls’ Generation, Super Junior and U-KISS attend the ‘Open Your Eyes’ event held at H&M’s store in Apgujeong

On April 18th, some of today’s hottest stars stepped onto the red carpet to attend the ‘OPEN YOUR EYES‘ event at the H&M location in Apgujeong, dressed in the latest Spring fashions.

The Art collaboration event was put on by KIA Ray and fashion brand H&M in support of ‘Our Eyes’, an educational arts program for the blind.

Various members from Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and U-KISS were in attendance.

Girls’ Generation voted as most popular female artist for the first half of 2012

Girls’ Generation has been voted as the most popular female artist for the first half of 2012.

According to the ‘Celebrity Popularity Survey – First Half of 2012‘ conducted by Lees PR, Girls’ Generation earned 26.9% of all votes under the female artist category, triumphing singer Park Jung Hyun who earned the spot last year after featuring on ‘I Am a Singer‘.

Singer IU who released her second full-length album ‘Last Fantasy‘ this past November seized the #2 spot with 15.3% of the votes, followed by Wonder Girls (7.3%), Lee Hyori (7.1%), Baek Ji Young(6.5%), miss A (6.2%), and more.

Idol group Big Bang who are actively standing on stages not only in Korea but also in Japan, the US, and more seized the #1 spot under the most popular male artist category with 18.1% of the votes. Singer Lee Seung Gi came in at #2 with 11.3% of the votes, followed by 2PM (8.1%), Rain (6.9%), and 2AM (5.7%), while legendary idol group Shinhwa who made a comeback for the first time in 4 years with their 10th album ‘The Return‘ last month came in at #10.

Won Bin proved to be the most popular male actor with 16.3% of all votes, and following closely behind him was actor Kim Soohyun with 16.0% of all votes. Behind them were actors Jang Dong Gun(9.2%), Hyun Bin (7.8%), Lee Seung Gi (6.5%), and Kang Dong Won (5.6%).

Kim Tae Hee was voted as the most popular female actress despite not taking on any recent roles in Korea, while Han Ga In came in at #2 with 16.9% of the votes. Trailing behind them were Ha Ji Won(12.6%), Shin Min Ah (6.8%), and Song Hye Kyo (6.6%).

Yoo Jae Suk and Shin Bong Sun were selected as the most popular comedians, while Park Ji Sungand Kim Yun Ah were selected as the most popular athletes.
