The SNSD member who thought she was the prettiest in the world will be revealed.

On the 10th, SBS 'Midnight TV Entertainment' will air their interview with SNSD on the set of their makeup CF set.

On this day, they had a 'beauty talk' with SNSD members. The member that wears the most makeup, and doesn't care about their skin the most will be revealed. One member also confessed, "I lived thinking I was really the prettiest person in the world," who will also be revealed in the interview.

Also, the members' showed off their individual acting skills. Laid-back Sooyoung acted pretty with various expressions, while 'ice princess' Jessica acted by crying. This interview is scheduled to air on the 10th at 11:15 PM.

Rockchic Look Tiffany crowned ‘Best Fashionista’

Tiffany was selected as the ‘Best Fashionista‘.

On Mnet‘s ‘Trend Report Feel‘ aired on February 9th, 12am KST, the fashion styles of stars attending various events were being compared. Besides Tiffany, other ‘candidates’ were Ha Jiwon, IU, Jo Yeojung, Hong SooA, etc.

SNSD's Tiffany was a head turner with her Rockchic Look at the ‘20th High1 Seoul Music Awards‘. Wearing a blue mini dress with some bling bling, red lipstick and a matching black rider jacket at the annual award ceremony, Tiffany was crowned the ‘Best Fashionista’ title.

SNSD, Big Bang are the top idols fans want to spend Valentine’s Day with

According to portal site Geumyoung Karaoke, SNSD and Big Bang were the #1 idols fans wanted to spend their Valentine’s Day with.

Starting January 27th, the site held a 6-day poll asking users to nominate their top idol choices for a Valentine’s date. Based on votes from 537 people (321 males, 216 females in their 20s-30s), 41% chose SNSD, while IU raked in 32%. SNSD is now enjoying their third consecutive year at the top of the poll.

As for the males, Big Bang enjoyed a triumphant return to the top with 27% of the votes, thanks to the ‘double combo’ appeal of Seungri and GD&TOP’s albums. The group had won in 2009, but lost in 2010 to ballad idol group 2AM.

Continuing with runner-ups for the male idols, 2PM came in second with 18%, B2ST took third with 16%, and 2AM fell to fourth place with 15%.

The poll also asked users to name the #1 Valentine’s Day proposal song, and IU’s “Good Day” shone at the top. Meanwhile, users voted for IU and Seulong’s “Nagging” to be the song they most wanted to sing with their significant other.

As Koreans celebrate Valentine’s Day with a twist (women give men chocolates on February 14th, and the men return the compliment one month later), the ladies were asked which male celebrity they most wanted to give chocolates to. Thanks to the “Secret Garden” craze, Hyun Bin dominated the votes.

To wrap up, users were asked to think back to a romantic drama couple they most envied. Poll results showed that everyone was in love with the lovers from “Secret Garden”, Hyun Bin/Ha Ji Won andYoon Sang Hyun/Kim Sa Rang.

SM Entertainment artistes dominate 2010 Gaon chart

SM Entertainment have proven their dominance in the music industry once again by conquering the 2010 Gaon Chart in terms of music sales.

At Seoul Press Center on February 9th, 3pm KST, Top 2 music sales was announced through the ‘Gaon Chart 2010 Closing Award Ceremony and Proclamation of 2011 Vision’.

In terms of music sales, Super Junior and SNSD took the top 4 spots. Super Junior’s 4th album ‘Bonamana’ was ranked 1st with total sales of 200,193 copies. SNSD took 2nd, 3rd and 4th spot through their 2nd Album ‘Oh!’ (197,934 copies), 3rd Mini Album ‘Hoot’ (163,066 copies) and 2nd Album Repackaged ‘Run Devil Run’ (136,851 copies) respectively.

Besides taking the top spot, Super Junior’s 4th album repackaged ‘Bonamana’ also secured the no.9 spot. Another SM Entertainment artistes, SHINee also managed 2 places in the top 20. Their 2010 album ‘Lucifer’ and its repackaged edition ‘Hello’ were ranked 6th and 20th respectively. Out of the top 20 spots, there were 7 entries in total involving SM Entertainment artistes.

Meanwhile, miss A topped the ‘Online Category’ with ‘Bad Girl Good Girl’ while Lee Seungchul’s ‘That Person’ secured the top spot for the ‘Mobile Category’.

Groups SNSD and Big Bang were chosen as the idols people want to have a Valentine's Day date with.

The karaoke instrumental and music portal site, ikaraoke, held a poll from the 27th for 6 days asking 537 members (321 male, 216 female) and others in their 20s~30s, which idol group they would want to spend Valentine's Day with.

The number one idol chosen by men was SNSD (41%), with IU in second (32%). This was SNSD's 3rd consecutive win for the same poll, and showed that the 'IU wave', that hit Korea like a comet, had no effect on them.

On SBS ‘One Night’s TV Entertainment‘ to be aired on February 20th, an interview with SNSD was conducted on the set of a cosmetic product advertisement shooting/filming.

The ‘Beauty Talk’ with SNSD centered on topics related to the members’ attitude towards make-up and skincare. One of the members gave a shocking response when she confessed ‘I know I am really the prettiest girl in this world‘. All these funny and interesting responses will be unveiled on the show.

Netizens Choose 'Tiffany' As the Top Idol!

Tiffany was recently chosen as the official idol league site Korea Top Face's 'Top Idol Of 2011' from the '2011 January Premier League'.

Nowadays, 'trend=IU' has been spreading like wildfire, but what the actual trendy idol netizens think of is different.

One person that runs Korea Top Face league explained this by saying, "Korea Top Face League is run with a 5-part minor league. The votes are taken through phone or internet picks, and each person is limited to one vote under that specific IP address, allowing people to see a direct reflection of the votes."

The results of the January Premier League were Tiffany in the first division, Yoona in the second, Hyoyeon in third, Victoria in fourth, and Yang Yoseob in the fifth division.

When it comes to the winner of the premier league, Tiffany, she was in the running for first against Taeyeon, who seemed to have secured her top position. Tiffany's mini skirt worn at the past Seoul Music Awards, and her live duet of the 'Secret Garden' OST 'Here I Am', with Sunny on a radio program helped her jump to the top, earning her the nickname as the first 'top idol of 2011'.

The second league has added Jessica, Yoona, and Sunye, having 7 SNSD members, 4 Wonder Girls members, Park Jaebum, 2 SHINee members, 1 2PM member, and 1 Super Junior member. This league has been garnering attention as it seems it was composed to be a battle between SM and JYP.

Filipino Fans Petition for SNSD Concert!

SNSD fans are petitioning SNSD to bring their Into the New World concert tour to the Philippines. An online petition has been started to gauge the interest of Filipino fans about bringing SNSD to the Philippines. Says the petition:

"Hello everyone, we want to know how enthusiastic the Filipino Sones and other Kpop Lovers are if SNSD will be able to perform in the Philippines. In order to make this project happen, we ask you to please fill-up this short petition. Any information will be very helpful in order to make Into The New World Asia Tour possible here. We did this petition on behalf of Filipino Sones regardless which fanbase you are in."

The petition also asks whether signers are willing to attend an SNSD concert, and how much they would pay for tickets.

The Into the New World concert tour started in 2009 in Seoul, South Korea, and last year made stops in Shanghai, China, and Taipei, Taiwan.
