[Info] Who ranks first on Kpop popularity from USA?

On an online K-Pop popularity poll from USA which ended in September, 4Minute was ranked 3rd with 3.71% (33,415 votes).

SNSD ranked 1st as the most popular female artist, winning 615,640 votes out of a total of 901,611 participants. The 2nd place went to 2NE1 with 17.67% (159.324 votes). Wonder Girls who have been promoting in the States managed to get 2.92% (26,347 votes), claiming the 4th place after 4Minute.

On the male artists side, DBSK won the poll with 45,34% (433,610 votes) out of 956,415 votes. The 2nd in place is Super Junior with 31.46% (300,845 votes). Following them, coming in 3rd, is SHINee with 6.78% (64,806 votes).

33,415 is not a small figure for 4Minute. Also considering the fact that they beat Wonder Girls who have actually promoted in USA before, it may not be long before 4Minute becomes real international stars.

On the 11th of October it was revealed that SNSD Jessica will release a solo song titled "Sweet Delight" and photo's of her in the recording studio was released online and has been receiving popularity among netizens.

Jessica showed superior looks and sported flawless skin when she appeared at teh recording studio. Netizens commented, "Jessica's skin is so perfect", "She is the queen of the recording studio".

Meanwhile, Jessica's solo song "sweet delight" will be released on the 13th as a digital single.

[News] SNSD Jessica to release solo CM song – Cover revealed!

After having fellow members Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, and Seohyun each release their own solo songs, SNSD Jessica will finally be releasing her own solo song! The title of the song will be Sweet Delight and the song will be released on October 13th.

After having her duets One Year Later with SHINee’s Onew and Naengmyun with Park Myungsoo become successful hits, it can be expected that her upcoming solo song will follow suit.

[News] Jung Yonghwa’s inspiration for ‘LOVE LIGHT’ is Seohyun?

CN Blue’s Jung Yonghwa confessed that there was some hidden meaning behind the lyrics of ‘Love Light’.

On MBC’s “We Got Married” aired on October 9th, Yonghwa confessed that he was actually thinking of his virtual wifey, Seohyun while composing the lyrics of ‘Love Light’, the 5th track in their mini album ‘Blue Love’ which was released in May this year.

When Seohyun asked about the lyrics of ‘Love Light’, Yonghwa explained, “The music of ‘Love Light’ was written some time ago. When I thought of you (Seohyun), I started to put in the lyrics for the song.

For the rap part, I thought of SNSD’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ and that was how ‘I’m genie for you girl’ came about”. Upon hearing Yonghwa’s confession, Seohyun seemed really happy and smiled shyly.

In this episode, the Yongseo couple had fishing activities and exchanged their couple rings. Fans of the show finally got to witness the Goguma couple walking arm in arm and holding hands with sweet smiles on their faces.

Netizens commented, “They really look good together” and “A beautiful couple”.

Looks like our Ice Princess is also being associated with food these days. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t referring to her appetite for food, but due to her involvements with food-related songs. After a successful duet with Park Myungsoo for “Naengmyun (cold noodles)”, Jessica will be singing about sweet stuff this time.

From the cover which was revealed only a few moments ago, one could see some famous brands selling donuts (D*nk*n’ D*n*ts), ice creams (B*sk*n R*bb*ns), French breads (Par*s Bag*ette), etc. All these brands are believed to be related to a Korean food company called SPC. Thus, we believe it is highly possible that Jessica’s new single entitled “Sweet Delight” which will be released on October 13th is to be used for the company’s promotion.

Other than Wheesung who wrote Jessica’s “Sweet Delight”, DJ Cloud and East4a also took part in this project. A few weeks back, Wheesung mentioned about writing a song for SNSD’s upcoming album. Who would have thought that he was also involved in Jessica’s single?

[News] SNSD Seohyun ranked number 1 girl group member with the most natural beauty

On the 10th of October, a group of plastic surgeons conducted a survey from September 12 to October 8 and over 781 participated on the survey themed "Girl group member with the most outstanding natural beauty".

SNSD member SeoHyun was ranked 1st with 44.5% of the votes receiving majority of the votes from the participants. KARA's Han Seung Yeon ranked 2nd with 28% and 2ne1 member Sandara Park was ranked 3rd with 24.1%.

SNSD SNSD two outstanding natural beauty on a girl group members were selected.

One of the directors of the survey said, "Seohyun has a friendly face and a younger sister image. She has a natural beauty, with a friendly face, confidence and a positive image, which resulted to the overwhelming response she got in the survey".
