‘Love Rain’ to be exported to 12 networks around the world

KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ has been sold to 12 networks overseas!
‘Love Rain’ was already sold to the Japanese market even before its broadcast, and now China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore, and certain locations in the Americas and Europe have picked it up!
The overseas market has been showing an interest in ‘Love Rain’ for quite a while now, which was demonstrated when reporters from all over the world gathered at the ‘Love Rain’ production conference at the Haneda Airport in Japan. ‘Love Rain’ was also the source of a lot of interest at the MIPTV in France.
It seems director Yoon Suk Ho‘s skills combined with lead stars Jang Geun Suk and YoonA‘s emotional acting have definitely played a large part in getting international attention.
The drama is currently being broadcast through KBS World and is receiving positive reactions from fans. Subtitled versions on YouTube are also showing high view counts, further illustrating the drama’s overseas potential.
‘Love Rain’s production company stated, “The staff and actors were all delighted to hear that the drama was being exported to various locations in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. They feel even more responsible for its continued success and are working as hard as ever, so please continue to show your support.”

Taeyeon's gift brought tears of joy to her parents' eyes


Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon revealed that she recently bought a house for her parents as gift.

On KBS 2TV’s ‘Happy Together 3′ aired on May 10th, in reply to the MCs’ question, “Why did you make you parents cry?”, Taeyeon said, “Those were tears of joy”. Taeyeon collected the money she earned through Girls’ Generation’s activities and bought a house for her parents recently.

Further to Taeyeon’s reply, Park MyungSoo asked, “How many toilets are there?”. Much to everyone’s surprise, Taeyeon revealed that the house she bought has 3 toilets.

Along with Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany were also part of the guest lineup, with YoonA making a surprise appearance on this entertaining episode.

’10 Corso Como Seoul’ launches countdown for Girls’ Generation’s perfume endorsement ‘GIRL’

As previewed in Taetiseo‘s music video for “Twinkle“, Girls’ Generation has revealed that they will be rolling out a new perfume endorsement with ‘10 Corso Como‘ this June!
Titled ‘GIRL’, the official Twitter for ‘Corso Como Seoul’ dropped additional details on the line along with the launch of a countdown to its release on June 8th.

Seohyun is concerned about her pure and proper image

Girls’ Generation member Seohyun revealed that she was stressed over her image.
On the May 10th broadcast of MBC TV‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert‘, Seohyun admitted, “People are not comfortable around me, what should I do?
I feel like my pure and proper image is causing others to be really cautious about becoming close to me. They think I sleep as soon as it hits midnight,” bringing laughter and sympathy from her fellow guests and the MC.
Now that I am 20, I want to experience a lot of different things,” she added, and fellow member Tiffanyshowed her approval by giving her a round of applause.
TVXQ‘s Changmin added, “I understand where Seohyun’s coming from as I grew up as the team’s maknae.”

Comedian Park Myung Soo was once upset with Girls’ Generation’s Jessica?

Comedian Park Myung Soo revealed that he was once upset with Girls’ Generation member Jessica.
On the May 10th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon,Tiffany, and Jessica, as well as comedians Shin Bo RaPark Ji Sun, and Jung Ju Ri guest-featured to share some laughs.
Park Myung Soo began by recalling up on the time he and Jessica did a duet song “Naengmyun” forMBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘.
The choreography for the song was put together by Girls’ Generation’s choreography team,” he said. “So, how would I be able to follow along with those moves? I was tripping over myself and made lots of mistakes.”
For the most part, when you step on stage with someone and the other person makes a mistake, you should be concerned and worried for them,” he continued. “But Jessica performed really well and looked good by herself!
The guests and the emcees couldn’t help but laugh at Park Myung Soo’s childish story, and responded by coming to Jessica’s defense. “Don’t you think at least one person should perform well on stage? Jessica seems to have saved the performance you could have destroyed,” they said, causing Park Myung Soo to then hilariously change his mind and admit, “Yes, I thought she was extremely professional,” evoking laughter once again.

Tiffany revealed to be the member with the highest alcohol tolerance

Girls’ Generation member Tiffany answered honestly when asked some very personal questions about the group.
On the May 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, MC Park Myung Soo asked the girls a rather shocking question.
Do the Girls’ Generation members pass gas, too?” he asked, causing the others on set to create commotion, demanding to know why he was asking that question to such lovely goddesses.
But member Tiffany then displayed her wit by answering, “We are only human,” causing everyone to explode in laughter.
The guests then continued to ask if the girls also drink alcohol, and the members answered, “We’re also adults.”
The girls selected Tiffany as the member with the strongest tolerance of alcohol and Tiffany revealed, “The rest of the members cannot drink very well. Taeyeon and I recently drank some icewine together.
Member Jessica also talked about her stage fright on the episode, and the girls revealed their true height and weight.

Tiffany thought Girls’ Generation would last for only 5 years

Girls’ Generation member Tiffany shocked viewers when she revealed how long she thought Girls’ Generation would last.
On the May 10th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert‘, Tiffany revealed, “It’s true that when Girls’ Generation debuted, I thought ‘we’ll probably be doing this for about five years’. However, as I continued to promote with Girls’ Generation, I kept wanting to do this longer and stay together with the members. It would be normal to want to do solo activities, but all of us want to promote together as a group.”
Seohyun added, “A lot of people think girl groups have a short lifespan, however, we want to change this mindset.
