Taeyeon and Haha, “Newlywed Couple” for ‘Running Man’
At a recent filming of an episode of SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘, the ladies of SNSD showcased their cooking talents in a culinary face-off.
The SNSD girls (Yoona, Yuri, Taeyeon, Jessica, Hyoyeon & Seohyun) were to pick one of the male Running Man members to join their team. The guys in turn had to choose one of the SNSD girls to join their team. SNSD chose ‘Haha‘ to join their team, while the guys chose Jessica.
On this day, Haha and Taeyeon went grocery shopping for their team and looked the part of a newlywed couple as they were given ‘couple nicknames’, and they hilariously promised a random cashier that the two of them would live happily ever after.
When they ran into rival team members Gary & Jessica, Haha joked, “Oh, look, you guys are the couple that lives downstairs from us, right?” To which Gary responded, “We’re going to separate after one last meal today“, which evoked a lot of laughter from everyone on set.
This episode of Running Man guest-starring SNSD airs on the 9th at 5PM KST!
SNSD appointed new models for J. ESTINA
The ladies of SNSD are the new faces of J. ESTINA! Recently we reported that Seohyun & Soo Young were the newest Fall models for the fashion brand, and now it’s been revealed that all of SNSD will be models.
The reason for J. ESTINA choosing SNSD to be their official endorsement models is not simply due to the fact that they are a popular girl group. The ladies are at the forefront of the Hallyu wave that’s making a tremendous impact overseas and like the brand itself, SNSD’s image also pairs well with the chic ‘real princess’ concept that they are currently pushing.
J. Estina will be releasing a new line of bags called, ‘SNSD backpack’. The backpacks will display the floral pattern that’s classic J. ESTINA, and will be offered in two colors of brown and ivory. In late October, they will be releasing their special S/S design- a red-colored bag decorated with studs.
The bags are sure to be a hit for the new autumn/winter season!

An old photo taken of SNSD‘s Yuri and Sooyoung has been attracting a great deal of attention from netizens.
Taken three years ago, the photo shows a slightly younger Yuri and Sooyoung posing for the camera with bright smiles on their faces. Actress Kim Yeo Jin gave the photo a warm, ‘family’ effect as she wrapped her arms around the girls’ shoulders.
Reportedly, the photo was taken during the ’2008 End World Children Poverty’ campaign.
Netizens left comments saying, “Their beauty hasn’t changed” and “They look like mother and daughters“.
