Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun records final We Got Married episode on White Day

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun have recorded their final episode for ‘We Got Married‘ on March 14th.

The ‘YongSeo Couple‘ started their virtual marriage in February of last year and finally decided to part ways after a year of marriage. The cold Kyungnam man and the model student Seohyun’s fresh coupling received a lot of love from fans.

A representative from the show expressed, “The two singers’ schedules are very busy by nature, and they have endured a lot of difficulty for filming. Even though it was a shame, we just wrapped up our final filming. Yonghwa gave Seohyun a guitar as a present during the last filming.

There is still footage left to be broadcast, and the YongSeo Couple’s last episode will be shown in the beginning of April.

SM Entertainment donates $1 million USD to Japanese disaster relief

On March 17th, SM Entertainment announced that they have donated $1 million USD to the relief effort in Japan.


Representatives spoke through Star News and stated, “Staff members and artists under the agency have extended their consolation to those affected by the natural disasters affecting Japan. In order to aid in their quick recovery, SM Entertainment has put their hearts into a donation of $1 million USD to the Red Cross Society.”


They continued, “SM Entertainment, our artists, and the citizens of Korea will be supporting the Japanese with one heart so that they do not lose strength and the hope to overcome.”

SNSD and Korean stars cheered Japan on through special SBS program


Stars in Korea are making their voices heard in their effort to help Japan.

On March 16th, a special SBS program ‘Cheer Up! Japan’ was aired to show support for the people of Japan who are suffering due to the terrifying earthquake and tsunami recently. Through this show, Korean stars expressed their sympathy and left their sincere messages as well as giving moral support to the victims and everyone affected by the disaster.

A member of KBS 2TV’s ‘Chit Chat of Beautiful Ladies’, Rie was shocked by what happened as she said, “Even as I was watching the news, I couldn’t believe it.”

Even though they did not attend the recording, SNSD, as well as Rain, 2PM, and SHINee left their messages for Japan.

Famed movie director wanted to meet SNSD so badly


On KBS Prime ‘Lee Geumhee’S Special Meeting’ which will be aired on March 18th, announcer Lee Geumhee met with the master of Korea’s film industry Lim Kwontaek, who had won many domestic and international film festival awards.

Lim Kwontaek made his film directing debut in 1962, while he was still in his 20s. In April 2007, he released his 100th movie called ‘Beyond The Years’. For his contribution, the French government made him a Knight of the French Legion of Honor in November 2007. After his 100th movie, the famed director came back with his movie no.101 called ‘Hanji’.

During the recording of the broadcast, Lim Kwontaek revealed that he likes SNSD and among the people that he would like to meet, the girls are on top of his list. He added, “I am attracted by their extraordinary beauty”.

YongSeo finished shooting final episode on ‘White Day’


YongSeo’s series of MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ started more than a year ago on February 27th, 2010. Due to Yonghwa and Seohyun’s busy schedules, the production team faces difficulties in arranging and coordinating the schedules for shooting. Thus, the YongSeo couple has no choice but to bid farewell to their fans.

YongSeo did their final shooting on March 14th, which is also the ‘White Day’ in Korea. The final episode is expected to be aired either on the end of March or beginning of April.
