Yuri shows off her incredible flexibility


Move over f(x)‘s Victoria, there is another incredibly flexible girl in SM Entertainment and she’s none other than Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri.
During the recent broadcast of Japan’s MBS documentary ‘Passion Continent‘, Girls’ Generationgave fans a look inside the preparations for their arena tour.
Yuri was spotted stretching before going on stage and impressed viewers with her incredible flexibility. She was seen positioning her leg in a 90 degree angle behind her hip and effortlessly moving her leg up to her face.
Girls’ Generation will continue on their ‘2013 Girls’ Generation Arena Tour‘ until April 21.

Yuri mesmerizes in a BTS clip for ‘High Cut’ shoot


Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri recently posed for ‘High Cut‘ magazine’s spring pictorial, and a behind-the-scenes clip of her at the photo shoot has now been released!
Yuri has been working hard to maintain her toned figure and made sure to show it off for the pictorial. The BTS video shows the Girls’ Generation member looking perfect in different outfits and looks and brightening up the set with her happy-go-lucky personality.

YoonA previously posed with MCM‘s Candy Bags for ‘InStyle‘, and if you were in need of even more YoonA in your life, MCM has provided just that by releasing a BTS video from the photoshoot!
YoonA’s beauty especially shone as she mixed neutrals with pops of colors during this pictorial, and she pulled off the pastel trend with handbags of various shades.
The idol looked beautiful even in the BTS video, proving that she doesn’t need any photoshop to look gorgeous.

Girls’ Generation and Hyun Bin team up to endorse Lotte Department Store


Girls’ Generation and Hyun Bin have teamed up to endorse Lotte Department Store!
The ladies of Girls’ Generation have been models for the company since 2012, and they renewed their contract this year. Hyun Bin has also signed a new contract with the company, and the pair will team up for a ‘Two Top Model’ system until March 2014.
Lotte will be opening new department stores in China and Indonesia. Because of their expansion, the company has decided to pick up Hyun Bin, someone who is a top star known not only in Korea, but internationally as well.
A rep from Lotte’s marketing department stated, “We chose the highly popular Hallyu star Hyun Bin because he is popular overseas, and because the Lotte Department Store is growing rapidly internationally. Starting from April, we’re going to hold a ‘Customer Happiness Event’ where the models can communicate closely with the customers.
The CFs featuring Girls’ Generation and Hyun Bin will be released starting on March 29.

Sooyoung would rather be called an artist than idol


Girls’ Generation debated whether they were artists or idols.
The girls recently participated in a documentary on Japanese channel, MBS, where they talked about their Japanese activities and tour. During their interview, the girls were asked, “Is Girls’ Generation an idol group or an artist?“.
Jessica answered, “To be honest, it’s an honor to be called an idol. The word ‘idol’ is like that. But recently, the meaning has changed a little bit. Now, if you’re young, you’re just labeled as an idol. Idols and artists are considered different.
Sooyoung stated, “It’s hard to differentiate between idols and artists, but I want to be called an artist.Yuri added, “I don’t think you can differentiate yourself as an idol or an artist. We’re just following people’s perceptions.

Girls’ Generation wants to be called artists instead of idols



Girls’ Generation seriously discussed their position as musicians in the industry.

The group appeared on a Japanese documentary program MBS’ ‘Jounetsu-Tairiku’ and revealed their great life as singers as well as their behind stories about their hardships and concerns as a group.

During the interview, the members were asked to place themselves between ‘idol’ and ‘artist’.Jessica expressed her disappointment at what the word ‘idol’ has come to mean, saying “an idol is someone who is admired by the youth, but these days, any young singer can be called an idol.”

Sooyoung added, “Honestly, we want to be called an artist.” Yuri then pointed out that those titles cannot be decided on one’s own and that the right is given to the public.

Hyoyeon, Min, and Han Ga In look stunning at the ‘EEG&EMG Spring Banquet 2013′ in Hong Kong


The snapshot of the stars were uploaded recently on a Chinese online community site and show Hyoyeon and Min having some fun with their colorful dresses while Han Ga In opts for a more simple, yet sophisticated black dress.
The three stars recently attended the ‘EEG&EMG Spring Banquet 2013‘ in Hong Kong on the 13th as representatives of Korea.
Netizens commented, “Hyoyeon became a lot prettier” and “They all look so beautiful.”
