The two ladies are typically known for their pure, innocent looks, so the image transformation came as a pleasant surprise. Sporting thicker make-up than normal, the girls exude an alluring confidence that’s streamlined by their slim mini-dresses.

Netizens commented, “YoonA and Seohyun make life worth living”, “They’re growing into beautiful women”, and “They become more and more beautiful by the day.”

SNSD surpasses 100,000 sales mark in just 2 days

On June 1st, the ladies of SNSD released their first full-length Japanese album and after the first day, the album topped the Oricon daily albums chart by selling 73,583 units. Now, with the second day of sales tallied it’s been revealed that the girls have broken the 100,000 sales mark threshold!

With a second day sales figure of 48,428 units the girls have officially sold a total of 122,011 units! If you can recall, back in November, popular group KARA released their album, “Girl’s Talk” and it sold a total of 107,000 units it’s first week, marking that monumental feat as the first album by a non-Japanese Asian girl group in Japan in 6 years and 9 months to sell more than 100,000 album copies in its first week. Now, SNSD has surpassed KARA’s first week tremendous sales figure in just two days.

Quite an accomplishment, the ladies of SNSD are well on their way to first place on the Oricon Weekly album chart ranking.

SNSD Break 100,000 Mark Within 2 Days

Girls' Generation attained the #1 spot again today on the Oricon Daily Album chart with album sales of 48,428. Having reported their #1 ranking on the same chart yesterday, the girls have topped the chart for the second day in a row.

After only two days since the album was released, Girls' Generation has already surpassed the 100,000 mark with a total of 122,011 sales. This is an incredible feat for a foreign artist in Japan, proving once again Girls' Generation's increasing influence in the country. Japanese artists UVERworld and J Soul Brothers are trailing not far behind the girls, so the sales for the upcoming days will surely be the main focus of many.

According to the official SMTown Facebook, Girls' Generation is also the first Korean girl group to have ever topped the Oricon Chart on the day of their album release.
