Seohyun discloses her great ambition in acting + new teasers for ‘Passionate Love’

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun expressed her passion for acting during the press conference for her debut drama ‘Passionate Love’ held in Yeouido on September 23.

Seohyun shared, “I wanted to be an actress since I was young. That’s why I couldn’t just take any project since I wanted it for such a long time. I decided to join the cast after I figured out that the character of Han Yu Rim suits me well.”

She added, “I have been singing under the alias Seohyun and I wanted to start out as a rookie actress and not as the singer Seohyun”, explaining of how she wanted to differentiate her six-year singing career from her soon-to-be-launched acting career. 

When asked about whether she envies her teammates who’ve experienced acting before her, Seohyun replied, “I really do a lot”, adding that the members have been cheering her on and giving her advice. 

Seohyun said, “YoonA has good expression through her eyes. Sooyoung has natural voice tone, while Yuri is absorbed in her character well. Jessica doesn’t get tensed and has bold style of acting.”

Girls' Generation's Seohyun and Lee Won Geun talked about what it was like filming their kiss scene for the upcoming SBS weekend drama 'Passionate Love'!

During the press conference for the drama held at the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul on the 23rd, Lee Won Geun opened up about how he has become the target of jealousy after his kiss scene with Seohyun. He shared, "I was stiff and awkward, but we filmed within a good atmosphere on set. The scene came out pretty, so it would be good to anticipate it... I became more distant with my friends. Since my friends have strong feelings for Seohyun, they are jealous of me."

Seohyun also shared, "To be honest, since I was featuring for only 4 episodes, I didn't expect to have a kiss scene at all. But the first time we met, there was a kiss scene, so I was really surprised. Since it was our first time meeting each other, I think that we were able to show a more young and sweet image."

'Passionate Love' will premiere following 'Wonderful Mama' on the 28th at 8:45 PM KST!

Seohyun's fans show their support for her first drama through rice and grain wreath donations

Girls' Generation's Seohyun is receiving a lot of love from her fans.  To support Seohyun in her first drama SBS's 'Passionate Love,' fans all over the world sent donations of 2.7 tons of Dreame rice wreaths and 928 kg of Dreame grain wreaths for a total of about 3.4 tons of wreaths to the drama's press conference.

The rice wreaths will be donated to the senior citizens who live alone and the grain wreaths to animal protection groups.  

Since January 2010, Girls' Generation's global fans have generously given a total of 24 tons of rice wreaths, 928 kg of grain wreaths, and 238 briquette wreaths to show their support.

Sunny and Tiffany Attend Nike ‘TECH PACK’ Showcase

On September 24th, Sunny and Tiffany attended the Nike “TECH PACK” showcase at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The girls arrived wearing contrasting outfits, with Tiffany choosing an all black outfit with grey Nike shoes and Sunny deciding to match a red Nike cap with an all white ensemble. Stunning those in attendance, both ladies posed for photos for members of the press at the event.
