Leeteuk is very protective of Seohyun!

Super Junior’s Leeteuk revealed her special brotherly love for Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun.

On the May 3rd broadcast of ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Show’, several SM Entertainment artists appeared as guests and shared more about themselves.

During the episode, Leeteuk stated, “Seohyun may not have a boyfriend.” He continued, “I met Seohyun when she was in the fifth grade. If anyone wants to become her boyfriend, he must present his personal documents to me and go through interview process.”

Seohyun then asked to pick her ideal oppa within SM Entertainment. She picked Shim Jae Won, who is the top choreographer for SM, as her number one choice, Leeteuk was #2 and TVXQ‘s Changmin as #3.

Taetiseo’s ‘Twinkle’ charts on Billboard 200

Girls’ Generation sub-unit Taetiseo has debuted on Billboard’s 200.

On May 3rd, Billboard published the new weekly charts for the U.S. Billboard 200. On this chart, Taetiseo’s ‘Twinkle‘ charted at number 126. This record is significant in that the Billboard 200 is known as the definitive chart for album sales in the United States.

This accomplishment is impressive as Taetiseo is a Korean language album and besides a release oniTunes, they didn’t have any official promotions in the United States. This is the second time a Korean language album has been listed on Billboard’s 200, Big Bang also accomplished this feat back inMarch with ‘Alive‘.

Taetiseo’s ‘Twinkle’ also appeared as #1 on the World Album, #2 on the Heatseeker, and #21 on the Independent Album charts respectively.

Leeteuk is over-protective of Seohyun

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk announced that any guy who wants to date Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyunwould have to first receive permission from himself.

On the May 3rd broadcast of ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Show‘, Seohyun admitted that her ideal type is someone who has the character and personality of United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki Moon.

After hearing this, Leeteuk responded, “I met Seohyun when she was in the fifth grade. Seohyun cannot date and have a boyfriend. She must always remain as she is.”

“Anyone who wants to become her boyfriend must first submit his profile to me, and must go through three different tests as well as an interview,” he joked, causing everyone to erupt in laughs.

Seohyun was asked to pick someone who came closest to her ideal type within SM Entertainment, and she chose choreographer Shim Jae Won as #1, Leeteuk as #2, and TVXQ‘s Changmin as #3.

When selected as her second choice, Leeteuk could not hide his excessive excitement.

Also on the episode were TVXQ’s Changmin and Yunho, Girls’ Generation member Tiffany, and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk.

Leaders of the K-pop boom, including TVXQ, Girls’ Generation and Super Junior, will appear on “Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert”.

TVXQ, Girls’ Generation and Super Junior, appeared on MBC’s talk show program “Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert”, broadcast on 3 May, giving rise to interesting conversations.

The 3 episodes worth of footage was recorded in the format of an MT (something like a camp or outing to facilitate group bonding) special. The recording proceeded with segments such as the self-introduction, a “lunchbox talk” and recreational games. During the self-introduction which was conducted first, TVXQ’s Yunho introduced himself as “The charisma of TVXQ”, and said that he “Loves sports”. Hearing this, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk said, “If Yunho had become an athlete, he would have been successful sooner,” making those present laugh.

Sparks flew when (the groups) began exposing each other’s secrets. Various episodes, such as “Yunho meddles so much that he always gets into arguments,” and “Super Junior’s Eun Hyuk has extremely smelly feet,” were also revealed.

During the “lunchbox talk” which followed, TVXQ, Super Junior and Girls’ Generation are expected to talk about their thoughts about marriage, through topics such as the kind of lunchboxes they would like to prepare for their lovers, and imagining how they would wake their spouses up in the morning. In addition, viewers will be able to enjoy the variety sense of these groups through the recreational games.

TaeTiSeo tops album sales chart!

Girl’s Generation’s first ever sub-unit, TaeTiSeo, made their debut with first mini album “Twinkle”. And just as everyone had expected, the album achieved an ‘all-kill’ on real-time music charts immediately after its released.

According to the Hanteo Chart on March 3rd (which tabulates the amount of album sales), TaeTiSeo’s first mini album sales reached number one for the day of March 2 and also the real-time album sales.

TaeTiSeo’s “Twinkle” continues to dominate the charts, maintaining #1 on the daily chart of Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Naver Music and other various online music charts.

In addition, “Twinkle” took over various Billboard’s charts. The single debuted #1 on Billboard’s World Album chart, #2 on Heatseekers Album, #21 on Independent Album and #126 on the Billboard Top 200.

Meanwhile, TaeTiSeo kicked off their first debut stage tonight on Mnet’s M! Countdown.
