Girls' Generation Attend Samsung China Fanmeeting in Beijing!




Girls' Generation left for Beijing in the morning of April 23rd to attend the Samsung China Fanmeeting. The girls were spotted at the Incheon International Airport, and were greeted by fans at the Beijing Airport when they landed.

The girls reportedly sang their hit songs, 'Oh!', 'Gee' and 'Hoot'. They also interacted and took pictures with the fans, and also watched a video using 3D glasses. The girls also made some attempts to speak in Chinese in order to better communicate with the fans present.

Due to the SBS's Inkigayo special performance that will be held at Jeju Island on April 24th, the girls left Beijing today in order to fulfil their busy schedules.

SNSD's Yoona Congratulates CEO HaHa on His Restaurant Opening


Entertainer HaHa officially opened his restaurant business, and many celebrities showed their close relationship by sending wreaths to congratulate him.

HaHa opened a grilled pork intestines shop near Hongik University on April 22nd. On the first day, he transformed into a worker and served food directly to the tables and communicated with the guests, creating a bright atmosphere as a CEO.

He met with reporters and said that he had a hunch the store would be a success with the number of guests lining up till dawn the next day.

The cast of entertainment programs like MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' and SBS's 'Running Man' sent wreaths to congratulate him, attracting the attention of guests.

Girls' Generation's Yoona is also creating attention with her message to HaHa, in which she cheekily said, "Let's go to a deserted island if your shop is daebak!"

Kim Taeho PD showed his loyalty with his message, "I had no idea how big 3 billion was. Haha, earn a lot of money!" Kim Jongkook's message was, "Be rich, my brother!" while Jung Hyungdon drew laughter from customers as his said, "Haha, talk like me".

In this regard, HaHa's manager stated that, "Before the opening day, many friends and colleagues gave him support and cheered him on, and guests who have visited the shop directly are enjoying the wreaths placed there."

Yoona and HaHa previously showed their close friendship through the recent appearance of Yoona (with Sunny) on SBS's Running Man. After the episode, HaHa tweeted and posted a picture of himself posing comfortably with Yoona. Hopefully, we'll be able to see Yoona and the members visiting HaHa's store themselves!

SNSD's Seohyun Spotted in School !


Pictures of Girls' Generation's Seohyun attending school at Dongguk University have surfaced.

On April 23rd, a netizen revealed two photos of Seohyun at a coffee shop in Dongguk University through a portal site's bulletin board. She was found dressed casually in a black top with blue jeans.

The netizen spotted her among the crowds, and took a picture of her at the checkout line with a mobile phone.

Those who have seen the pictures commented that, "As always, a celebrity is different", "She looks pretty even when the pictures were taken randomly", and "I envy the school students", showing interest in Seohyun's appearance.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation have just recently revealed a portion of their music video for their new Japanese song, 'MR. TAXI.' Stay tuned for the official release!

Girls' Generation To Release First Full Japanese Album On June 1


Girls' Generation is preparing to release their first full Japanese album on June 1. While the information is not yet 100% official, several music website have begun listing the self-titled album 'Girls' Generation' as being available for pre-order. Previously released Japanese singles 'Genie', 'Gee', 'Run Devil Run', and 'MR. TAXI' will appear on the album, which is said to contain 12 songs total. The new album will come in three different editions, much like the 'MR. TAXI' single, with the two limited editions containing different extras in addition to the album itself.


The Deluxe First Press Edition, priced at ¥8,400 (approximately $100 USD), contains the album, a DVD with the regular and dance versions of the 'MR. TAXI' music video, a special bag with the Girls' Generation logo on it, and a 40 page photo booklet.

Oricon Ninki Chart Predicts that MR. TAXI Will Take #1 on April 27th!


On the day that a snippet of the 'MR.TAXI' music video was released, SONEs have more good news to look forward to. On the Oricon Ninki Chart, users have predicted a #1 for Girls' Generation's third Japanese single!

As the Oricon Ninki Chart is a pre-release rating system, based on the results of a user poll conducted by Oricon, the girls' ranking of 88.10 indicate that there is a strong public interest in their new single. Despite being expected to top the Oricon daily chart on the day of release, they will still face tough competition for the top weekly spot from Kobukuro, a well established Japanese group that debuted a decade ago.
