Taeyeon will make a cameo appearance on ‘Salamander Expert’

Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon will be making a cameo appearance on ‘The Salamander Expert and the Shadow Operation‘.
A few stills of the singer making a cameo appearance on the new situational comedy surfaced trhough an online community site on January 25th.
Fans were surprised at how comfortable she looked on set, and remarked that she was a natural.
An insider from SBS remarked, “There will be a continuous string of celebrities who will make new cameo appearances on the program. Taeyeon just wrapped up her filming, and she will appear on 3~4 episodes.”
The drama is drawing attention as SHINee‘s Minho will be making his first small-screen debut through ‘Salamander Expert’, and the first episode airs on January 27th.

Jessica makes her first appearance on ‘Wild Romance’

Girls’ Generation member Jessica made her first appearance on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Wild Romance‘.
On the seventh episode of the drama that aired on January 25th, Jessica plays the role of Kang Jonghee, the former girlfriend of Park Mooyeol (played by Lee Dongwook).
For the character Park Mooyeol, Jessica’s Kang Jonghee is the ‘one that got away’, the one girl that he never got over. Kang Jonghee enters the story when Park Mooyeol is close to opening up his heart toYoo Eunjae (played by Lee Siyoung), completely changing their relationship.
A love triangle is then formed, between Jonghee, Park Mooyeol, and Yoo Eunjae who has captivated the viewers with her feminine, yet chic and rugged charms.
In the story that unfolds, Kang Jonghee returns from her business trip overseas and meets with her friend Sooyoung (played by Hwang Sunhee). The two approach Mooyeol, and Jonghee jumps into his arms.
Jonghee, who wouldn’t free Mooyeol from her embrace finally says, “I missed you.”
Though she didn’t have much camera time, the singer still managed to make a strong entrance. Check out Jessica’s full clip below!


SNSD, KARA, and more rank on this week’s Oricon charts

It seems to be another great week for K-pop on Japan’s Oricon Charts!
The Boss and KARA ranked on Oricon’s Album Weekly Chart for the week of January 16th through the 22nd. The Boss ranked #7 with ‘Love Letters’, while KARA followed right behind at #8 with ‘Super Girl‘.


In addition, Kim Hyun Joong ranked #2 on the Singles Daily Chart with “Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy” , whileAfter School came in at #6 with “Rambling Girls/Because of You”.
Last week, B2st ranked #2 on the DVD daily chart with their ‘B2ST The 1st Concert – Welcome to B2St Airlines’, and now they’ve ranked #2 on the DVD Music weekly chart. Girls’ Generation followed behind at #4 with ‘Japan First Tour Girls’ Generation’.

“少女时代”私生活照赤裸曝光,“作为女孩子……”


女生组合少女时代被香港狗仔队拍到了私生活照片。  


1月22日,某门户网站公告板上出现了“少女时代在香港飞机上被狗仔队拍到私生活照片”的文字,并上传了有关照片。 


公开的照片是对香港演艺杂志《Face Magazine》上周刊相关报道的扫描图,从中可以看出少女时代在飞机内的形象和坐席分布表等,照片中少女时代的成员有的在读书、有的在吃零食、有的在睡觉休息等,都在度过自己的自由时间。


公开的照片中有允儿张大嘴巴吃零食、Jessica将脚伸在前排坐席上舒服休息、秀英张大嘴巴睡着的特写照片,这都是她们自然的生活形象,但纯属个人隐私,完全没有必要将其公诸于众,这种做法令人甚为气愤。  


网民们也纷纷表示“这是侵犯私生活”、“不要拍人家的私生活”等,反应热烈。

昨天1月25号经纪公司通过kakaotalk公开了收录着 少女时代 成员 允儿 与 徐贤 的现场画报拍摄照片。


根据报道据悉俩人当时候是正在为某智能手机品牌的应用程序拍摄画报。画报中俩人打扮成娃娃般的造型十分讨人喜爱。尤其是 允儿 修长的双腿更是深深吸引着人们的视线。


网友们均表示道“允儿好美啊” “徐贤好像古典美人啊”等等。

Updated : Jessica Makes Her Drama Debut On 'Wild Romance'!

On January 25th, Girls’ Generation’s Jessica made her first appearance on “Wild Romance”.  Though she was featured only briefly in the episode, fans were excited to see her acting in her very first drama.  “Wild Romance” has now updated its official cast page with Jessica and has also released another still photo, pictured above.  You can check out Jessica’s appearance from the episode as well as the preview for the next episode below.


Girls' Generation to Visit New York Next Week and Contests in Store for SONEs!


After performing at SMTown New York in late October, Girls’ Generation will be making a return trip to New York next week to promote their music and meet with fans. (Note: All times are EST.)

Soshified will be sponsoring a “Super Fan Contest” for all SONEs who come to New York to see Girls’ Generation. Fans that come to all four aforementioned events will have a chance to meet Girls’ Generation, take a group photo with them, and receive other Girls’ Generation merchandise. Flyers with contest rules and event and prize details will be distributed at each event, and every fan who attends each event at the designated time will receive a different-colored stamp at each event on one’s flyer.

Girls' Generation Appear at KISS Fashion Event


Popular Korean girl group Girls’ Generation appeared at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo for the first ever collaborative fashion event between Korea and Japan, called “KISS (Korean International Style Show)” on January 25th.

Girls’ Generation received the biggest cheer at the event when they appeared on stage to perform five of their popular songs, including “The Boys”, “Genie”, and “MR.TAXI”. Sooyoung later greeted the crowd in fluent Japanese, saying, “Everyone from Tokyo, it’s been a while, how has everyone been? We’re really happy to appear alongside so many other artists today.”

The girls wore Houndstooth-checkered monotone suit pants with long black leggings, giving off a cool, coordinated feel. Tiffany explained, “The member’s of Girls’ Generation also have a lot of interest in fashion, and we worried about what we should wear. But in the end, we decided to wear suits because it gives off a cool feel.” Afterward, Tiffany called out to the crowd in a cute voice, “How is it, does it look good?~”

The “KISS” event goes from January 25th through the 27th, and the main theme is “Greatest collaboration between Korea and Japan. From Shibuya to Asia, then on to the world”. Around 11000 people attended the even that featured other Korean artists such as CNBLUE, SISTAR, and Beast, who were also working alongside top models from both Korea and Japan.

Girls’ Generation’s Jessica was unable to attend the event because she was filming her drama “Wild Romance”.

KPOP artists such as Girls' Generation's Yoona, Jang Geun Suk and JYJ's Junsu were featurd on The Korea Herald's Culture Section.

The article has a title of K-Drama and K-Pop: boundary blurs and under that are the pictures of Yoona, Jang Geun Suk and Junsu.

Looks like their point is the kpop artist are not just singers anymore, they are also actresses/actors now. Yoona and Geun Suk's pictures are for their new drama love rain while Junsu is for his musical.


Jessica’s portrait is graffitied on a famous alley in Australia

Girls’ Generation member Jessica has been found in Melbourne, Australia and this is causing quite the stir amongst her international fans.
The above photo recently surfaced on an online community site with the title, ‘Girls’ Generation Jessica in Melbourne‘.
The photo was taken at ‘Hosier lane’, where the drama ‘I’m Sorry I Love You’ is known to have been filmed.
This area is also one known to be a famous alley, having a wide variety of graffiti art on the walls. Jessica’s portrait is graffitied on a wall in the area and is featured prominently.
Korean tourists in the area as well as fans all over the world took note of the art, and fans were proud to see that the face of a leading Hallyu K-pop girl group member was showcased there.
Netizens who saw the photos remarked, “The K-POP storm has hit Australia“, “So cool, so proud. Congrats!”, “Expect nothing less of Girls’ Generation“, and “I want to go see it!”

Performances from the ‘2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Concert’


SBS has cancelled this week’s episode of ‘Inkigayo‘ in order to air a special concert officially dubbed the ‘2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Concert‘, with a purpose of commemorating and wishing Korea success with the hosting of the Winter Olympics.
The concert was pre-recorded back on January 17th with over 4,000 fans in the audience, and even South Korea’s president Lee Myung Bak! IU teamed up with announcer Kim Hwan and model Yoo Hae Young to MC this festive event.
Performances from today’s concert includes: SNSD, CNBLUE, Park Hyun Bin, B1A4, KARA, SECRET, IU, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow Pixie, TEEN TOP, 2NE1NS Yoon-GA Pink, 4minuteand Boyfriend!
