Girls’ Generation member Jessica recently experienced a somewhat embarrassing moment at a baseball game while throwing the first pitch.
On May 11th, Jessica attended the ‘2012 Paldo Pro Baseball‘ event to throw the opening pitch between LG Twins and Samsung Lions.
As expected, fans and players were immediately charmed by the entrance of Jessica, as she greeted everyone with a big smile. The idol bowed several times, before getting into position. When the time came, Jessica showed off a solid stance as she got ready to launch the ball towards the catcher.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out quite as she intended. As soon as the ball left Jessica’s hands, it immediately headed towards the ground, only to bounce and roll off much to her embarrassment.
With her face turning slightly red, Jessica laughed at her mis-throw while still remembering to take a bow. Viewers laughed at her helplessness and commented, “She had a really good stance, but the throw was….err..”, “She must have been really embarrassed“, and “Ah! so cute, i love her dorky character“.
After receiving their trophy, member Tiffany was giving their thank you speech, when fellow Girls’ Generation member YoonA who was filming ‘Love Rain‘ at the KBS studios made a surprise appearance on stage.
YoonA congratulated the girls on their win, and bashfully sang along for their encore performance while also showing off her “Twinkle” dance moves.

On the May 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Taeyeon attempted to clear up the misunderstandings.
“I was resting my chin on my hand while looking at the monitor, and that one segment got captured and began the ‘unprofessional attitude’ controversy,” she said.
“The screen capture created a lot of misunderstandings,” she explained.
Fellow member Jessica then added, “Taeyeon wasn’t feeling good that day,” expressing that it was unfortunate for Taeyeon to be swept up in controversy when she was already ill.
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation member YoonAalso made a surprise appearance on the show while filming her KBS drama, ‘Love Rain‘.
On the May 11th broadcast of MBC TV‘s ‘Dancing With The Stars‘, Hyoyeon and her partner Kim Hyung Suk danced to “Love Potion No. 9“.
With their powerful jive, they drew attention for their performance that was on par with the Choi Yeo Jinand Park Ji Woo couple. Both Hyoyeon and Kim Hyung Suk earned a total of 21 points from the judges.
The judges on the show include Korea Musical Association’s director Song Seung Hwan, World Dancesport Federation’s international referee Alex Kim, and prima ballerina Kim Joo Won.
