Girls’ Generation’s Sixth Anniversary Project by Soshified: ‘GIRLS&SONE’

Room to Read

In celebration of Girls’ Generation’s sixth anniversary, Soshified will be making a donation to a charity called Room to Read. This organization was first established in 2000, and has provided more than 6.5 million children throughout Africa and Asia with over 1,500 schools, as well as 13,000 libraries filled with ten million books, since its creation. It is also currently supporting the education of over 14,000 girls. By 2015, Room to Read hopes to have been able to reach ten million young students in need of such support.

To help Room to Read achieve its goal, Soshified would like to raise $10,000, which will be enough to build two classroom libraries for schoolchildren in Asia. Donations can be made directly through this link.

Also, be sure to look forward to the upcoming anniversary threads that Soshified will be updating this article with as the girls’ special day draws closer. The gifts suggestion thread is already up and can be found here. We do look forward to seeing your contributions in this thread as we are open to all sorts of ideas.

This year’s theme for the sixth anniversary is: “GIRLS&SONE”. We are striving to encompass the passion and love that comes when you combine Girls’ Generation with SONEs. Together, we can work towards making the world a better and happier place. In order to achieve this, we would like you to help spread the word via social platforms like Facebook and Twitter about our donation drive. To do this, simply share this link “http://bit.ly/187o0al” with all your friends and encourage them to donate to a good cause. As previously mentioned, all proceeds will go towards building a safe environment for less fortunate children to learn in.
Please feel free to email projects.soshifiedint@gmail.com if you have any questions or suggestions for us.
We do hope that you can help to make our project for the girls’ sixth anniversary a huge success!
